Once someone starts cracking their knuckles, more will follow
Indie developer Knuckle Cracker has just released 'Creeper World 3: Arc Eternal' for Mac and PC. I first encountered Knuckle Cracker's Creeper World at Raleigh SPARKcon in 2009, where developer Virgil Wall was demonstrating and promoting his first Creeper World PC game. The first Creeper World asked players to defend their city from oncoming enemies, a creeping mass that poured across the game board. (I wasn't covering a lot of tower defense at the time, and passed the game over to Indie Game Magazine colleagues, and Mike and Zak reviewed it here ) The first Creeper World was a solid defensive puzzle, a nice twist on the typical tower defense. T he latest version, 'Creeper World 3: Arc Eternal' is much more of battle strategy game than just a tower defense. Players will need to develop weapons and plan careful strategies to fight their enemies.
