So I’m gonna need some help with vet bills with this stray I found.
She is not chipped and her collar did not have tags. There’s nothing on file either at the humane society for missing cats that look like her.
Current goal is just $200 to help cover at least the basic vet visit ($70) and some of the basic tests to make sure she doesn’t have any parasites or that she’s not having any major health problems right now from how skinny she is. If it’s any more than that I’ll update and/or likely just try to pay out of pocket if it’s not too much more.
Humane society is not helping with the bill since we’re caring for her right now because they’re low on space, supplies, don’t have a vet on site for a few days because of the holiday, it’s been seriously busy right now for them in general because of the 40 dogs they just got, and we figure it’d be best for her so she’s not stuck in a cage with a bunch of other stressed cats and the ton of noise.
Because of how she looks and I have no idea how long she’s been outside I want to get her checked out as soon as I can (I have an appointment on the 5th), but mom also won’t help with vet until after we officially adopt her, unless she decides to find a different home for her if she isn’t claimed after a few weeks.
This wouldn’t be a problem except currently in the middle of getting a couple things on my car fixed as well and need to pay for that.
Please consider donating on my Ko-fi page or at least share this post to help. Current goal isn’t that much but it will definitely help right now.
