**Hats do not cover eyes. The model head is made smaller than the average human head. This causes the hat to cover the eyes and parts of the face that it will not on a person. **

I have always loved koalas. Ever since I was a kid. I would go around correcting people about how they weren't actually bears. Even after I learned that they are rather unfriendly creatures I still wanted to cuddle one. So when I got the fur for the Furry Eared Fennec Fox Hat I had already decided to make a Koala hat too. 

The pattern went through about 8 iterations before I was happy. I wanted the ears to be round like koala ears actually are but not cartoon mouse shaped. So, that took a bit of work until I was happy with it. I also wanted to the curved edge to not appear to cut into the round part of the ears, which means the ears aren't actually circles and wow, that is just hard to explain. Either way...Ears are weird!

Colors are all based on real Koala colors. Yes, they do actually come in brown.
