Hey there Moksutinn! It's good to see you back!! I've recently been wanting to draw some handsome older men and have been having some difficulties! I admire your drawings and was wondering if you might have any tips for drawing cool handsome older men since you draw them so well! Either way It's nice to see see you posting again! Oh yeah, I can give some tips.

1. Draw regular bishonen dude. 2. Add some wrinkles on his face and maybe neck too. In my opinion giving wrinkles around eyes and mouth are the most important. 3. (optional) Uhhh.... draw some old man facial hair on him!!! Anyway, thank you!!! I'm glad you like my older dudes :')

Oh boy... 😶😶 my Spotify is an absolute mess. I have Britney Spears and Nirvana on the same playlist because I can’t stick to one genre. The best I’ve gotten is having decade playlists, but only for the 60s and 80s. The 90s onwards have me traversing all genres and picking what I like... but if I had a to pick a type, it’s songs with a story. Which is why I love the Family Tree Albums by Radical Face.

Favorite Bands: Ooo, this is a hard one..hmm..But I guess a couple of my favorite bands are Fall Out Boys, Paramore, Union Square Garden, and Day6 (I’m pretty sure there’s a bunch others, but I’m blanking out o.o)

Last movie I saw: Love, Simon  Somehow got a free screening to the movie and having never read the book, I really LOVE the movie! It was a funny, endearing, made me cry type of movie that I really recommend to watch! 

Last show I saw: Sanrio Boys~ I’m almost caught up to the recent episode! Besides that, I’ve also been watching How to Keep A Mummy, Idolish7, and a couple others

Why did you choose your URL: That’s a good question~! If I remember correctly, it was because I really didn’t have an idea of what to call myself, so I just thought of something I really like to eat and gummies were one of them. Gummies are delicious!!

Types of Blogs you follow: Artists by the dozens! So many amazing artists that I’m pretty sure I haven’t followed them all~ Also writers (they’re so amazing at what they’re able to create with words ⊂（♡⌂♡）⊃) and reference blogs for fashion and such

Favorite colors: I like a lot of cool colors such as blue and gray. I’ve recently been very fond of purple, green, and yellow though!  

Avg hours of sleep: Ohh, I’m not sure ‘o’);; I’ve thrown off my sleep schedule again so it’s been a mess (I now wake up around 2-3pm ughh) I got to fix it soon

Lucky Number: The number 7!!! Mainly because I was born on the 7th lol

Dream trip: o(*≧□≦)o New Zealand!! Switzerland, and Venice! I’ve always wanted to go to see the mountains! Experience the fresh air! Look at all the trees!!!! Look at the buildings! See the canoes! UWAHHHH I’m making myself too excited σ(≧ε≦ｏ) ---I can’t really say this as a dream trip because I’ve already furfilled it, but I would love to revist Japan again! One day, maybe I’ll be able to go back with some friends ;w;)~

What are you wearing?: Mickey shirt along with my neon yellow sweatpants ( I don’t know what compelled me to buy them in the first place, but I really love them asdashfjk)

How many blankets do you sleep with?: 1 blanket (I have others on my bed, but they’re folded and placed in a corner) since I don’t sleep well with too much heat 

Dream job: Hmm..I really wanted to work for Disney when I was younger (I still do now!! But not as much anymore), but going to art school, I realized I would love to do illustrations! Maybe something in animation also ( that’s what my degree is for lol) 

Favorite foods: Food??!! Oh gosh, there’s a bunch! Ok, so I really love fruits! Really love them to bits <3 My favorite ones come from overseas in Asia: Mangosteen and this one fruit which I don’t know the english name for, but it’s like a pear and a apple mixed together?! I also like taro! Now that I think about it, I enjoy a lot of sweets <3 Sesame Dumpling soup, tofu dessert, fruit tarts, cake, you name it! If it’s something savory, curry or Pho!

Sorry I'm reading tags again! jhfuhrgrt I ALSO have that Talexi artbook and I agree with you about that one DmC piece! I liked it before reading about it, but seeing the thought that went into the design gave me even greater appreciation for it. I LOVE reading the thought process behind designs. Kinda wish there was more of that stuff in the official DmC Design Works book. It was sadly sparse in that area imo but still has many lovely pictures. I would want ALL the info though tbf. Hah.

!!! I’m excited that someone else has the book and saw it to! Talexi’s one of my favorite artists so it was really cool to see his thought process behind Enslaved and DmC which are like, peak art design to me. 

I agree though, I have both the DmC art book and the other art book on the development of all the games excluding 5 (I think that ones Devil May Cry: A Divine Comedy) and while they offer a lot of insight I always feel like I’m left wondering about the designs that don’t get picked and I really like how in Talexi’s book he goes into that. Like I’ve been dying to know about the axed Kat designs, the one with the violin and the motorcycle, and I was so happy he addressed those and how initially her concept was like Bond girl based. At long last I had answers! 

I know there’s some interviews from way back that illuminate some of the design decisions but I wouldn’t remember where to track those down really. It’s been a long time.

(Also don’t worry the tags are there to be read! I like to ramble perhaps too much in tags but they would not be left if I wasn’t ok with them being read!)

Hello again!! I've seen you mention a DmC AU where Vergil and Dante are Demon Kings and Kat is a Demon Queen. Also the designs are really cool! Would love to hear more about it if you ever feel like talking about it. Look at me- just adding stuff to your pile of write-ups ahaha hdfbhergbhrg sorry. Have a great day- take care!

hello!! don’t worry about giving me more DmC write up’s i am living for them and the demon royalty au’s are easy to talk about! (and i’m happy to hear that about the vergil and kat thing because i probably will end up doing that i love them too much and have far too many things to say. i’ve been having a lot of fun writing all various versions but some of them i get too lost in the verat and definitely deviate very far from any semblance of a point lmao)

i would love to talk more about the demon queen kat au and the demon prince au’s! they’re sort of separate au’s but sort of connected, me and my girlfriend have a habit of sort of like creating many interconnected au’s because we can never make up our minds on things so it sort of ends up being a branching tree of au’s.

but the original demon queen kat au was based on the concept that she was in on vergil’s plan from the get go, so when he leaves at the end of the game she goes with him. so when he becomes a demon king, kat naturally becomes queen. there’s a few variants of this where like vergil finds her later and she  goes with him then or like one’s rooted in the demon prince au where she becomes demon queen that way but that was the initial premise and usually the demon queen kat i draw because i like her fancy outfits and custom made horn crowns. the original demon queen kat is very much loving being demon queen and her and vergil are living their best lives as gossipy royals. also overall there’s a lot of hades and persephone vibes no matter the version.

that said i think if anyone had to be crowned at the end of the game, kat being the most responsible one out of the group and least prone to power corrupting her, she’d definitely have been the best choice and it’d be fun to see all three of them as monarchs together because like, kat is the twins common sense and the only one i’d trust to keep them from going power hungry.

the demon prince au is a favorite of mine and it has an aesthetic tag on my blog for Vibes (aes: the path is clear for us to rule) and the premise to that au and all it’s branches is that instead of leaving the twins in the human world and separating them, sparda takes both of them and asks mundus for amnesty in exchange for returning to his former position while probably secretly still scheming about how to take him down. mundus grants this and since the game suggests that reboot mundus and sparda are brothers (in whatever sense) dante and vergil are raised as demon princes of limbo and since mundus has no claimed heirs, it also makes them both heirs to limbo if anything is to happen to him. 

dante definitely flourishes in the lack of responsibility he has as spare heir to vergil, who everyone kind of see’s as the current true heir of limbo, and keeps accidently doing a good job moving his way up the demon royalty ladder (like the divine comedy, i imagine hell in the reboot is in different circles and dante’s managed to move up a circle by getting engaged to the demon queen of lust). meanwhile vergil has to deal with sparda’s expectations and just general heir business. but usually finds himself side tracked with kat, me and my girlfriend have a few variant's of this like some where kat is saved and taken in by dante’s fiancé or ones where she’s a witch working in service to the limbo royal family but she’s usually just sort of a person who get’s wrapped up in demon world politics and business. it’s an au i like a lot but never draw enough about honestly.

also it’s important to me that everyone know that demon prince au dante has two demon dogs he takes with him everywhere. it’s important to me that detail gets across lmao. they also follow him around when he’s in the human world, he does not go places without his dogs.

i also just want to say i’m also really happy anyone’s still interested in the reboot, the fact any of you want to hear me talk about it is extra flattering! i really do love the reboot and it’s nice to see other people love it to, even all these years later, and i’m always happy to provide what content i can, either my own or otherwise.
