Thank you for coming to me with this. I hadn't gotten word from him for about two hours when he dropped out of our conversation, so I was getting really worried. 

On an equally important note, please remember that kohaicat (at least to my knowledge) is using male pronouns, so I ask that you respect that and use them as well.

Tumblr user kohaicat is in need of a safe place to go.  They're currently in Fort Wane, IN, and trying to make it to Detroit from an unsafe situation.  I've been trying to contact them to try and help. I'm willing to drive out there tonight and get them, but I can't reach them.  If anyone knows how to get a hold of this person, please message me asap. We're a community, and we need to help each other.

Transgender is actually an umbrella term the same way homosexual is. For years I identified as gender queer because I didn't think I could be trans since I don't really plan to have surgery or anything. But I go to a gender non-conforming support group and thru our discussions, I realized I could be both. I made the joke for years that my inner feminine is a gay man and my inner masculine is a butch lesbian. All the way around I actually identify as queer, as both my gender and sexual orientation. Technically as a transman that dates (mostly) women, I would be straight but I couldn't bring myself to call me that. I'm not a big fan of labels and since I consider gender to be fluid, I choose to identify as both trans and gender fluid. Since I'm male but still in a female body and I do have feminine moments. Gender as a whole is very complex. When I first started exploring my gender identity, I thought you had to either be gender queer or trans, that you couldn't be both. But than I found out thru talking to fellow ppl in the gender community that how you label yourself is your own choice and that you can be gender fluid/gender queer and trans.
