Kohei Nawa’s acclaimed series is called PixCell, in which he covers the surface of various objects with thousands of small glass beads, creating a mesmerizing and surreal effect. The PixCell works often feature taxidermied animals or other natural objects, such as stones and plants, which are transformed into otherworldly and almost dreamlike sculptures.
