U know I am not the biggest fan of kohina fluff. but it just needs to be right. what is good about a ship like that is when emotional vulnerability is earned because u have two characters who are fundamentally irrevocably fucked in their own ways, which end up actually being the same way. they are filled with so much self hatred and devaluation they would go through extreme lengths to either change themselves or make themselves feel like they have a use. that is why there will always be tension between the two because they parallel each other but the person they mirror is who they hate most. the fluff can only come after this is acknowledged imo. and that makes it a matter of self acceptance too. Like idk if either can ever overcome that but like at least in the moment theres a feeling of making peace with it
