Pasaquan, a 7 acre compound in Bueno Vista Ga. Eddie Owens Martin was a gay prostitute selling weed out of his compound. He created this artistic site almost in secrecy. As anyone who came to visit him were not allowed in his backyard. He made up a one of a kind religion called Pasaquan. He told people he could talk to animals and would do tribal dances in his backyard. Eddie has been deceased for quite some time, but his compound has been restored through the Kohler Foundation. Dee and I visited Pasafest, a once a year art fest out in the middle of nowhere. The place is an absolute wonder of creative art. With authentic folk artists selling there wears. There was also a stage of live performers and tasty food trucks. This is yet another place Deidra and I would highly recommend fir your bucket list. ✌️ ✌️ 👌 #samgranger #pasaquan #kohlerfoundation #buenovistaga #pasafest #folkartpainting #bucketlist #bluefrogart (at Pasaquan) https://www.instagram.com/p/BqBgQM2gmo3/?utm_source=ig_tumblr_share&igshid=1oo7dci5au0si
