For the second year in a row, a unique performance of ancient Greek theatre -with a twist – helps travellers in Athens to complete their experience of Greece. Right, under the Acropolis. The performance “Medea are other friends I made in Athens” is in English.
It is “the funniest 60 minutes you will spend in Athens,” promises the announcement by open air theater KOILON.
“Are you looking at the Athens attractions map and asking yourself: is that the best in Athens? Same old, same old… Then, what to do in Athens if you are looking for different things to do? Fear not, honorable traveler!,” organizers write on their website – and they are certainly right.
Director, Nancy Rigopoulou, has staged a unique performance that allows the spectators of every nationality to meet the deep, timeless messages of the ancient Greek civilization in the most entertaining and uncomplicated way.
