Sonya Blade, hands down. Best girl. The desperate need to protect everyone and everything she cares about to the point that she ruins her own relationships and thinks it’s the right thing to do, because then at least those people are safe? Fighting (literally) to be respected and treated well in what is very much a man’s world? A human, a plain and simple human like so many of us, against forces she’s so ill-equipped against, but trying anyway?
