reoccurring meeting
@komorikuro
Inaho liked to think, sometimes, that you would never fully be separated from your past. As both a positive and a negative point. Both a threat and a promise, to be specific. You could never escape.
Still, it was one thing to meet someone you knew in the streets and casually reacquaint yourselves from there and an entirely different for you to think, somehow, that you acutely recognized the person you’d just blandly shot your usual spiel of ‘hello and welcome to Griffin’s Ice Parlor’ at before pinning down with an awkwardly long pause.
“How can I serve you this afternoon?” ‘Are you who I think you are?’ was more like it, but for the next minute or so he was still working and he had to behave at his job.
