Fully believe that KomoSuna has the same potential SakuAtsu does, but it was just nerfed by the fact that Komori is the most irrelevant dude in haikyuu. They have that same jokey-teasing dynamic and also only really interact in the time skip where they both end up on the same team. It's just always overlooked because of OsaSuna. Don't get me wrong I love OsaSuna and my favourite fics ever are OsaSuna, but I would choose background KomoSuna in a SakuAtsu fic over background OsaSuna any day.
