We are horrified by the tragic events in Kongsberg last night. We sympathize with the relatives of the deceased and those who are injured in their grief and despair. And we think of all those in Kongsberg who have experienced that their local safe environment suddenly became a dangerous place. It shocks us all when horrible things happen near us, when you least expect it, in the middle of daily life on an open street. Norway is a small country. When Kongsberg is hit hard, the rest of the nation stays with you. We send warm thoughts to everyone who is now facing a difficult time and everyone who has demanding work tasks ahead of them. It is our hope that security will be restored so that fear does not take hold.

King Harald’s letter to the mayor of Kongsberg following the tragic attack last night which left five people dead. A 37-year-old Danish man has been arrested in connection with the attack.

“folyik a munka a svéd mérnökökkel, mert a megrendelt amerikai rakétákat nem lehet rögzíteni a Gripen vadászgépekre.“ - Egyrészt meglepő, hogy ilyenekre már előre gondolnak, másrészt amikor ennek a doksiját olvasgattam , abban AMRAAM-ER rakéták voltak, amik egyébként nem AMRAAM-ok, hanem RIM-162 ESSM egyébként hajólégvédelmi rakéták, ennek megfelelően nem függeszthetők a Gripenre. Persze ez az egész beszerzés olyan zűrzavaros, hogy aztán lehet, hogy kiderül, hogy mégis AMRAAM lesz az elfogó.

Meg persze az is igaz, hogy ha az irániaknak sikerült a Standard Missile-t F-14-re függeszteni a Phoenix helyett, akkor nekünk mért ne sikerülne az AMRAAM-ER-t függesztenünk az AMRAAM helyett.
