The interviewer: How did you guys end up getting along?

A lot of critics slamming Godzilla vs Kong for the humans being underdeveloped don’t seem to understand why the trope ‘Just Here for Godzilla’ exists.

No one gives a flying fuck about the human characters.

Except for the adorable little girl that bonds with Kong. She’s an angel and we’re happy to have her.

Here’s a sentiment I think Tumblr will appreciate. I watched Kong: Skull Island for the first time the other day to prep myself for Godzilla vs Kong, and now I can’t help thinking how much I want a novel about the twenty eight years John C Reilly’s character spent on Skull Island with that Japanese pilot. I want a Hank Marlowe/Gunpei Ikari survival epic on the island of monsters! Enemies to friends to brothers!
