The light ‘tap’ of steps against pavement was one of the few sounds, besides that of vehicles, faint conversations, the occasional dog bark; usual outside noise. Iwate Ryo blinked up at the sky, carrying two bags of groceries in his hands as he continued on his way. The sun had just vanished behind the horizon, and color of the sky continued to grow increasingly darker. It was a nice evening, a gentle breeze rustling some nearby trees.
Ryo gave a small huff, blowing away a few strands of loose hair that had interfered with his vision. It was then that he became aware of the bench a few feet to his left. Not the bench itself; seeing a bench wasn’t an uncommon occurrence. It was the figure resting on it that caught his attention and interest. Was someone sleeping there? Green eyes scanned the shape of the sleeping figure, curiosity and concern taking over as he stepped over to the bench. This wasn’t really the best place for anybody to take a nap, especially with the oncoming night. This guy could get robbed or something, easily. At the very least, Ryo wanted to know who would be sleeping in this odd spot.
... Wait. He knew this guy. He definitely knew this guy.
With this realization, Ryo’s eyes widened as he set his bags down by his feet, gaze locked on the sight of a familiar face. He placed a hand on the other’s shoulder, gently shaking him in an attempt to wake him from his rest.
“Sina??”
