Bardo's gift was probably the most unconventional.
Konoe had to likewise thank him for helping to teach the Sanga how to make chocolates in the first place!
This one, he admitted, he had to get a lot of help from. Konoe remembered going to cafe's even to ask how he could do this -- and in the end, he had prepared the little treat in Bardo's very own hut. He had to time it just right too!
He was a bit proud when it was finished and greeted the larger cat when he returned home, just in time.
He slid the cup forward then, laughing a bit sheepishly.
"Since you're older than the others, something with a little caffeine seems to fit best. It's kind of sweet too, with the foam and everything, but I hope it's okay.
Happy Valentine's Day, Bardo."
Bardo hadn't been expecting anyone to be in his little hut when he'd returned. He hadn't even had a chance to put his things down when he realized Konoe was there as well. His tail had stopped moving a moment before it continued to sway gently. His curiosity was tickled but he had a seat after greeting the younger cat.
When he spotted just what Konoe made for him, he couldn't help but smile.. A genuine smile, it looked like. Because he liked the present? That had something to do with it yes.. But it was more so knowing that Konoe had to have learned to do this as well. It may have been nice to see how willing Konoe was to learn new things.. That seemed rather silly, right? Needless to say, he was impressed. Eyeing the beverage a moment longer, he used a claw to lightly poke at one of the foam cat's ears. Bringing he claw to his lips he took a lick of what foam had ended up on it before a purr emitted from him. This would be a treat.
"Thank you. I appreciate it."
Licking his lips, his tail moved side to side in a content manner before his ears perked suddenly.
Getting up once more, he left his latte kitten on the table to gather the bag he'd been carrying.
"Not much of a gift, I know but I'll get you somethin' nice before you leave, alright? Who knows. Maybe I'll end up goin' along after you... I've left my inn alone too long already. Hah."
For the moment, he had his back turned to the younger before he offered a parcel to Konoe. Two, actually. The first was a plain, white apron. Seeing as Konoe had been discontent with the frilly one.. And the second? A uniform, it looked like. One worn by someone who'd work in an inn... Since they'd talked about it once before, he thought it might be nice.
The uniform, that is. Chances were, Bardo sewed it himself. Who knew, really. It may have even been the same for the apron.
"I don't know how much you'll use them when you go back to Sisa but..."
And.. Cue a sheepish smile from the older cat.
