almost done with all my exams then I’m on summer break! until summer semester starts but that’s a problem for future me
ill make up for the lack of content. planning to post something with a prompt i got from an event that I’m hoping to post next week :) hopefully wednesday? but no promises lol
in the meantime I’ll reblog some older stuff to make it feel like I’m actually here lol

alright so
that announcement yesterday. how is everyone doing?
i can’t say I’m shocked this is happening honestly. they’ve always been extremely money hungry, and i bet things have been going downhill since the launch of NB. there was no need to create a whole new app except for monetary reasons.
they’ve been trying to promote their new thing Ex and Bee? was it? so I wouldn’t be surprised if that’s where they go next. Unless I’m infatuated with a new character they create, I probably won’t be following solomare to their next endeavor. after those 30 dollars dates and then immediately announcing they’re done creating new content for the game? fuck no. they don’t care about us. it’s just too taxing as a fan, you guys probably get it
I will still continue writing for obey me however! I still have lots of i want to create and as long as you’re still willing to read, I’m still willing to write. I actually haven’t opened the games in a bit and haven’t participated in any events in a hot minute. This isn’t my first rodeo with stuff like this. however, if I had to pick somewhere to migrate, I’d probably go to genshin or honkai star rail since I’ve been long time players of both. I know eventually this blog will fizzle out, whether it’s because I lose interest, or the fandom dies, but until then, I plan to keep going

when protons are diffusing down their concentration gradient through ATP synthase, it spins!!!! the synthase spins!! like a merry go round!!!! I can’t believe inside all of us the guy that makes our energy is spinning while doing it! it makes me so happy to know this isn’t this so cool???? I want to be an atp synthase now

hello everyone! my family and i are safe :)
as predicted though, we have no power, and it won't be back for a while. i'm very fortunate to know somebody with power, which is how i'm making this post right now! it's honestly a miracle they didn't lose power, because last time i checked, over 1.6 million people lost power. milton was record breaking. i haven't been able to see the news, but i imagine we made national headlines haha. it looks like our house did have some roof and gutter damage, but there's no water leakage so that's all that matters right now!! we're also having sewage issues nearby, so tap water is unsafe.
unfortunately though, i'm slammed with school work. you'd think they'd give us more slack, but i have a bunch of shit due monday. i'm really hoping they cancel school for longer so i have more time to do work, since the only time i have to do it is the couple of hours i have at a friend's house. i also have no way to get there since i got into a car accident and gas is impossible to come by right now. they're not really taking locals into consideration. i'm paying how much (i'm not because i got a scholarship but still)? and this is how they're treating me? i won't offload this onto you guys but it's just upsetting and felt like i needed to mention it.
for now, i probably won't be posting anything. while i do technically have time, my signal back at home is awful and i need to conserve my battery. my laptop doesn't hold a charge well so it's strictly for school work right now.
i'm sorry if what i said before now, and what i'm about to say sounds ungrateful, or a vent, but i just want to mention it. i'm actually losing followers right now, and i'm wondering if it's because i'm not being consistent and just posting about my situation rn. to those people, i'm really sorry but there's nothing i can do about it! it was 90 degrees this afternoon with no power. i was just trying my best not to melt haha

hey everyone! another life update (sigh yes I know)
the hurricane is supposed to be a direct hit and it’s currently a category five. it’s sounding pretty bad right now. so! probably no updates for at least a week or so. I’m really sorry but I know you guys understand. I do believe I’ll be alright, but this will be the worst hurricane I’ve ever been through. We’re expecting flooding and I’ve spent basically all day gathering valuables and fortifying the house
I probably won’t have power for a while because all of the government resources are currently being used for hurricane helene relief, so they have nothing to send to florida. As soon as I can, I’ll send give you guys updates.
As of right now, basically all of my free time is being used to help with hurricane prep, and the little bit of time I do have I’m spending with friends since we could all use the comfort right now.

just got my drivers license after putting it off for like three years now!!! my picture is actually pretty cute. my glasses are either a little askew or it was taken at a slight angle but I don’t hate it. it’s probably just the poor quality of the picture but you can’t tell at all that I have acne in it haha
very proud of me! (fingers crossed my dad will cave and buy me a car lol)
