Do you ever miss the show's jazzy influential soundtrack? Correct me if i'm wrong but it seems the show abandon it's jazz like origin from the earlier episodes in the newer episodes.
The show’s soundtrack has definitely gone through some changes since its original version. I do miss listening to the old versions, but it’s probably a good thing the soundtrack evolved over time with the series. I’m not sure the old soundtrack version would feel right with the updated artwork.
When it comes to the Dr3 Blu Ray Specials there are only four art books right?
Three, actually. The concept art book with Vol I and the Zetsubou-hen and Mirai-hen books with Vols II and IV, respectively. Vol III comes with Kirigirisou instead.

Sadly, no. I never ended up getting the original anime on DVD or blu-ray. If I do end up picking it up at some point though I’ll see if I can get a version with the tokuten!
