What happened this week has no impact on how I see Jikook’s relationship except that it’s a huge reminder of how very complex and difficult their situation is. I’m not into speculating on labels, details, or history beyond what they’ve shown us, which is a decade of consistent care, companionship, and insane chemistry. In any case I support them both as individuals and as a pair and I’ll keep doing so.

Jikookers crashing out right now makes no sense to me at all unless it’s because of what that person has done to Jimin, or pain over the difficulty Jimin and JK face. Making this about their relationship and publicly questioning whether to abandon them is just so gross. I’m blocking when I see that shit, good riddance.

Otherwise, PJM vs army clashes on the tl today. It still shocks me how so many ot7/army refuse to see what’s been so blatant for years. I know, most of them are on the dark side but there are many others who are just like I was a year ago when I thought the answer was a broad stroke anti shipping stance. But how the hell can that be helpful when there are two members who are actually in love? And the silencing of Jimin bias and jm solo fans drives me insane. There are so many pjms who were previously ot7 and I don’t blame them one bit for their current stance.

If I was a regular army who didn’t believe in Jikook realness, I’d still love them both and would hate to look back and regret being in denial when I could have been a supporter especially when at least half the fandom is foaming at the mouth to erase their closeness and completely crush JM’s career, reputation, and spirit. I wish more non jkkrs would stop and think about why the cult hates him so much. The level of fear and vitriol they have about Jikook is actually a massive indicator about how very real they are.

Now back to voting for Jimin’s VMA. I’m really proud of how much I’ve accomplished this past month - it feels good to be able to do something concrete for him 🌻
