Tough Match Awaits South Korea
The quarterfinal matchups are set for the 2019 Asian Cup and even though all the matches should be entertaining, I feel as though the showdown between South Korea and Qatar will be the most exciting.
Both teams have been perfect so far with four wins and zero defeats.
But technically speaking, you would have to say that Qatar has been a tad bit better considering it didn’t need extra time to get past Iraq in the second round.
South Korea had some trouble with Bahrain, but in the end the Koreans prevailed with a 2-1 win in extra time.
There was irony in the match between Qatar and Iraq as the only goal of the match came from the man who was born in Iraq, Bassam Al-Rawi.
South Korea will face Qatar on 25 January in Abu Dhabi and online bookmaker 10Bet has the latest odds.

A lot of the football experts and pundits are favoring South Korea, but I believe that this match is a toss-up.
On paper, South Korea is the better team. But the Qataris have been playing excellent football in this tournament and have yet to concede a goal.
The defense has been great for Qatar and the firepower is in full effect with eleven goals in four matches.
Almoez Ali proved he is human because he finally didn’t get his name on the scoresheet. But he will surely be marked tight by the Korean defenders.
Qatar will be looking to make its first appearance in the Asian Cup semifinals while South Korea is aiming to be in the semis for the fourth consecutive tournament.
Will this be the start of bigger things to come for Qatar? Or will the South Koreans spoil the party in Abu Dhabi?
