I just adore the gut wrenching horror concepts Sister Location presents.. Something very effectively revolting to me about William inspiring his murder robots in his family. Like. Elizabeth is a human child. Her skin is warm and alive, not metallic and cold like Baby's, and her father of all people should know that, should appreciate her as the person she is. Instead, he makes an idealized robotic version of her that has no autonomy and will always obey him (unlike Elizabeth, whose humanity, her desire to be loved, in particular, led her to disobey her father). Like why would you do that William Afton I could kill you with my bare fists. (This is also mirrored by Michael's-human-insides-being-replaced-with-robotic-parts for the BRAVE PEOPLE with EYES TO SEE)
Something so horrible about the fact that in case these animatronics (possessed by dead CHILDREN btw) disobeying or overall being imperfect you can just shock them all the times you want. (I mean you shouldn't because that would mess up their remnant or something idk but the point is that you technically can. you have full control over them and no one can hold you accountable for torturing them because they're not living beings, right?)
Something so horrible about a wirey messy amalgamation of killed-children-that-were-never-allowed-to grow-up wearing a grown man's skin in a desperate (and rather foolish/childish because of course people would notice it's a corpse) attempt to flee their underground prison, just to go to the outside world, just for the illusion of being alive and free, a human with warm skin instead of their usual metallic and cold. But the cruel part is that there's no alive thing in their attempt at being human. They're corpses wearing another corpse. Them being outside won't change the fact that they're dead, nothing will. And it's even more heartbreaking when their confusion and lack of humanity forces them to become aggressive and monstruous in FFPS, metallic and cold again.
Years have passed since SL released and I still can't get over the horror of MULTIPLE dead kids (each one of them had personalities and familys mind you) possessing a SINGLE mess of wires, and the worst part is that the entity that inflicted this onto them was a Human Being who did this 100% willingly. Hey remember how I said it's even more heartbreaking because in FFPS they're driven to be more monstrous? Well it's even worse because apparently that's what William wants. An interesting output. "Fascinating, what they have become" AAAAUGHHG PJ Heywood did SUCH a good job with that voiceline, that man does NOOOT give a damn and GOD do I want to punch him
I also want to point out the contrast between the outside world and the bunker. Maybe it's unintentional, but I LOVE how the outside world is so cartoonish and dare I say idealized. Almost like something a child would draw.
(ignore the wikihow watermark 😔)
Anyways I love Sister Location.
