you can trip on my synthesizer electronic world for every boy and every girl
my idea for this track started out as "what if the second and third sanctuaries had their own battle theme?" but just kinda morphed into a glorified cover of third sanctuary
Two playlists I think I'm gonna have to start making soon:
One that's dedicated to the much-sampled bells off of Bob James' 1975 cover of Paul Simon's "Take Me to the Mardi Gras," whose most famous use is probably in Snap!'s "The Power" (although Snap! were actually sampling Mantronix's "King of the Beats," which itself was sampling "Take Me to the Mardi Gras"):
And the Korg M1 Organ preset 02, or in layman's terms, the early-to-mid-90s fuzzy dance organ sound, which coursed through a bunch of voguing house tunes, like Crystal Waters' "Gypsy Woman ((She's Homeless) (La da dee la da da))" and found its way into plenty of fashion show catwalk soundtracks:
Two of my fav sounds of the 80s and 90s by far, so I should probably start documenting them, right?
I just got my hands on the KORG M1 so I just had to arrange a melody in it.
The melody itself is supposed to be part of a bigger track, a boss fight against an almost godlike creature and you just did a sick transformation to have a chance against it.
(And yes, just because I used the KORG M1 it NEEDS to resemble Sonic Mania. No debate here)
based on an old series of korg M1 designs from 2019 that i made and @michaelmusicworldwide later printed on to patches
