DEATH ZONE is located at an altitude higher than 26,000 ft. At the death zone, your brain and lungs will be deprived of oxygen. 

Without it, your cells will die. THE HUMAN BODY WILL LITERALLY BREAK DOWN, IT WON’T ADAPT… IT’LL DIE. UNLESS, YOU HAVE A BODY AS EXCEPTIONAL AND PHENOMENAL AS LITTLE GOKU. 

(No exact numerical height of the tower was ever stated. However, the top of the tower is not visible from the ground. If we can still see an airplane at an average altitude of 35,000 ft., we can imply that the top of the tower can be seen at a higher altitude.)
