Who makes the first move and how?

Ruki is the one who makes the first move because Yuriko is too flustered to do so.

But they both are a bit slow to realize what’s truly going on.

That is if you don’t count the fact that Ruki doesn’t wait too long to sink his fangs into Yuriko’s skin because something in her blood lures him to her. He doesn’t really understand the reason; he sees her as mere livestock even though her blood is almost as sweet as Eve’s to him.

Other than biting the properly first move is probably a quiet moment with book talk… or at least planned like that, knowing them that also can turn into biting for various reasons. But it’s perfectly possible that neither of them isn’t sure about the true nature of their relationship at that point.

I can see them falling for each other slowly without completely realizing it at first, so in that regard, the clear first move is difficult to pinpoint.

Who says ‘I love you’ first?

They are slow with this situation too. But Yuriko is the one who realizes her feelings first. She has had a crush before and she also has spent her days drowning in romantic literature, so she will recognize the cues sooner than Ruki.

While Yuriko is faster to understand what is going on, she is too shy to say the words. Even if she is pretty sure that Ruki feels the same there is always a chance that she is wrong and then everything would be really awkward.

So, Yuriko hides her feelings while Ruki has difficulties seeing his. He doesn’t think he is capable to feel such things and keeps wondering what is wrong with him.

But even before realizing and confessing his feelings, Ruki has already decided that Yuriko is his possession and he isn’t going to let her go no matter what. When he understands that he loves her, he only wants to keep her to himself more than ever. She is his and only his.

So eventually, Ruki will come around and then he will confess. Only after that Yuriko is able to tell him how she feels too.

What do they get up to on a night out?

They aren’t exactly “a night out” types.

But if they go out for having fun, a library or a museum would be the perfect place to go but those aren’t usually open during late hours.

So, they might also visit a carnival, an annual festival, or another kind of event even though they aren’t comfortable in crowded places.

They might also enjoy going together somewhere secluded, like a walk in the forest or a picnic for just the two of them.

But the truth is that most likely they would love to spend a cozy night at home, cooking, reading, doing puzzles, or just enjoying each other’s company.

What two songs, two books, and two luxury items do they take to a desert island?

“Good grief, what kind of foolishness is this? For surviving on a desert island you will need different kinds of objects than books or luxury items. At least for Yuriko, and as her master I must make her survival my priority.”

“Umh… Yeah, I don’t think those items are truly useful on a desert island…”

If the couple must choose… As for a song, Ruki would probably pick up something classical and Yuriko would choose a song from Kou because otherwise she would be worried that Kou could take an offense.

As for books they would probably go with The Catcher in the Rye and Wuthering Heights.

And luxury items? No, they would replace those with more books. Maybe some philosophical title and a poetry anthology they both would enjoy reading.

"Yuriko-san! I dreamed of you today. We had to solve a murder in an amusement park. The case was about a corpse that was trapped in a rose bush and there were not many clues but in the end we were able to determine that the killer was one of the dogs of the place. Was strange but I can't deny that was pretty entertaining."

Yuriko’s mouth dropped open when she heard Korisu’s words. That was unexpected! How could Korisu know —?

Oh, but of course, she doesn’t know, does she? I just monitored them… That was so strange… to see me like that…

There were so many people; legs, legs everywhere! Yuriko tried to lurk in the bushes as she was struggling her way through the amusement park. A place she didn’t want to begin with but didn’t seem to find a way out of.

Then suddenly the most familiar scent ever hit Yuriko’s nose. Could it be…? Yuuto! They have never met outside the forest but maybe this was a new place for them to meet. Yuriko sniffed and started to trace the scent until she reached the rose bushes.

Stopping still, Yuriko couldn’t help but stare at two girls who were crouched near the bushes. The dark-haired one lifted carefully an arm of a third person but then let it fall back down. But the other girl… ivory hair that stood out in a very stupid manner. A girl with the same scent as Yuuto’s. Well, almost. There was something different in it too. The girl turned her head and her cerulean eyes gazed around the amusement park. Quickly Yuriko hid herself behind a rock and pressed her ears against her head.

But… but… that’s me! With Korisu-san! How…? But I am right here! How can I be with Korisu-san too!? What is happening here?!!

Yuriko’s whole fox body was trembling as she followed the two girls while they went from place to place, talking to people, and collecting evidence about a crime they kept talking about. A murder.

While Yuriko knew she should have been more scared about the murder… somehow seeing herself from outside freaked her out even more right now. All the talk about a dead body just didn’t feel real at all… 

“Umh… Korisu-san…” Yuriko didn’t know what to say. By now she knew what was happening but there was no way she could tell Korisu that she had been with her in that very same dream. “Ehehehe, that sounds quite a dream indeed. Do you always have these kinds of dreams?”

Yuriko smiled and shifted her weight from one leg to another, pondering what would follow. It was strange enough to have these dreams but seeing herself in other people’s minds was… She couldn’t even put that feeling into words.
