The fact people conclude that people who are neutral on discourse and debates as them being either side is absolutely ridiculous. You are allowed to not take either side — for whatever reason you concluded that you want to be neutral, you can! You shouldn't let people dictate a stance you concluded. We're people with different opinions at the end of the day and we're allowed to have different stances and still be fine with each other.

If you respect people's choices on standing neutral, then it's fine. You cannot force people to pick a side and that's perfectly normal, it's in our nature to say that we're neutral in topics.

A rant.

I just saw (as I'm writing this) a Stalker4Victim & a Abuser4Victim flag. This is very unhealthy! Not only is it glorifying stalkers and abusers, but Stalker4Victim is Stockholm syndrome! Which shouldn't be glorified or romanticized whatsoever. I get a coping mechanism, but this is unhealthy, borderline anti-recovery, and romanticizing horrible actions. I won't name drop anything or anyone, but you can easily find who I'm talking about.

Don't glorify or romanticize abusers and stalkers. I can't believe this has to be said.

Editblr likes throwing around buzz words that they think have an impact on others, but really don't. Editblr likes to call people ableist, but they really aren't. They're butt hurt that someone called them out on shitty actions and people are sick of them getting away with it and getting swept under the rug.

People who are bad people deserve to get called out in a respectful manner, but it needs to stick. I think I've only seen that a handful of times.

Stop trying to tear down the messaging of ditizygirl. Che is the ultimate form of change and falsely telling others stuff che never did, stuff that is awful to accuse someone with little to no proof, is insane. Che is doing good for editblr and you guys being uncomfortable with cher's callouts and opinions is one thing, but falsely accusing cher of awful things without proof leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Let ditizygirl spread what's true about editblr and rentryblr in peace instead of trying to tear down cher's character. Thanks!

Running this account has made me open my eyes to unpack racism in these communities. I know it's bad, but it's the little things here and there that I'm really starting to notice.

We know by now that editblr has a problem with using east asian culture to fit their "kawaii aesthetic" and the cultural appropriation in the community within the community, but there's also the naturally accepted usage of psds and being allowed to say they aren't made for black characters, which is also racist. Using names from cultures that shouldn't be used, appropriating native culture by "gifting" names to one another despite not even being native whatsoever, the list goes on and on about editblr and to the extent, rentryblr about its racism and culture appropriation.

We all must be aware of this issue and make changes. These actions shouldn't be so swept under the rug and widely accepted. It needs to be called out when seen, even if it's accepted by most.

I feel like editblr and rentryblr are suffering from a case of unoriginality. Not only does editblr have multiple goddess accounts with the same two characters, but rentryblr makes "Saint Style" (If you know, you know.) rentries with no creativity whatsoever.

We need originality in both; something that's never been done before to spark something new. Even if we do that, that new thing will probably be copied and leached off of anyways.

Here's something that IS ableist though: Not providing accessibility in posts.

Fonts, symbols, lack of IDs, etc. If you don't have plain texts and IDs on things such as flags, you shouldn't post them until you provide such. Having "no spoons for ID" or saying that "Plain texts look weird on my posts" is not an excuse to not be accessible. Get someone to make IDs for you or wait until you have the spoons to do it. If able-bodied people can enjoy things such as flags, why can't disabled people too?

We like to throw the word ableist around to people who call out others for their shitty actions because they feel butt-hurt and need a defense, but won't actually call out what's ableist.
