Steph’s got me remembering AU’s so here’s just a few of my favourite AU-ified OCs from said AUs
MythnoirAU- The Sammies! Solo Act was a four headed hydra who, upon wearing their glamour to disguise themselves as a human, became 4 identical humans. They figured the best use of this was to because a barbershop quartet- no one outside the mythical races is going to question identical quadruplets if it’s a novelty, and besides, it sure is fun to make those harmonies!
KorraAU- Crayon’s a little guttersnipe in BaSingSei’s underbelly, who makes journies into the sandy planes to earthbend in a very unsual way. He superheats the sand until he creates glass, which he then delights in shaping into animals and shapes. From there he tries to sell them to richer looking earth kingdom folk- and he gets by. Best part is this could be a VERY dangerous earth bending technique, the ability to create razor sharp glass from anywhere should you be in the desert, but with no one there to guide him to good or evil, he’s just happy making little glass turtle duckies
EtheriumAU- Quark! A tiny little Spectrul seperated from his herd, just trying to gain enough energy to get home- and making a few curious friends along the way while trying OH SO very hard not to get murdered by an entranced feline
Also- Octobaby. Survivor of Johnus, deformed orphan and who landed a punch on the nose of the feared Captain Eddy. This was the best move she ever made because now she has the respect of a very spooky pirate man :3
Incrediblesau- Sadly I never got much chance to expand on this concept- but young Crayon’s superpower is the ability to manifest his imaginary friends as physical beings. It’s controllable and the creatures are only there as long as he feels he ‘needs’ them- but when you’re an easily frightened little kid, that could happen whenever.
His imaginary friend is a giant armoured angel, something that could protect him. Once the creature is manifested, he can only command it so far. The command ‘make them go away’ could be done in any way. Physically removing, killing, throwing etc, it all depends how scared he feels.
Edna created a helmet that dampened the effects enough for him to be safe. Unfortunately, he’s a deadly weapon in the wrong hands. Just feed him enough fear and that angel will become extremely powerful. It won’t stop until Crayon feels safe. And how can you ever feel safe when your own mind could kill thousands of people?
