yeah i definitely agree! i hope they started learning when they still got to see each other, because the idea of them hanging out as kids and showing off their cool new skills to each other is really cute.
i don’t know how much formal training mai had (i can’t really see her parents being super supportive of it, and i doubt it was taught at the royal fire academy for girls?), so i imagine she learned a lot of it by herself through a ton of study and practice. i like to think that the first time she got her little hands on a knife she went “Yeah” and decided she was going to be exceptionally cool from then on

ok let’s talk about scorpio season! oct 23 - nov 22 so I don’t think it’s too late. scorpio’s ruling planet is Pluto, which symbolizes rebirth and beginnings/ endings. basically it could be a time when a big decision is coming up, or something else along those lines. with the cancer sun/taurus moon combo im gonna guess you’re pretty stubborn, but that isn’t a bad thing!! you have good instincts that make up for it. and scorpio rising makes me think you have a lot of presence or big personality, so all of that together can absolutely be used to your advantage.
