haha i relate to this so much! i've always kinda been interested in druck but i've yet to start it. but i recently started spain (cause wlw) but i'm always kinda close to being annoyed at something, it really is a fine balance. i never watched more than 2 s1 remakes before i completely gave up and i thought i would never watch a s3 one, but maybe!!
I know! I’ve been relating to your recent asks so much! You’re one of the few Skam blogs I’m still following (no offense to everyone who I unfollowed, just had clear out my dash or I was only going to get more annoyed myself!) because your feelings were very much aligned with mine and that was for the most part “keep all remakes away from me”, heh. You’re part of why I’ve been toying with starting Spain but not quite committed, because we do seem to overlap a lot!
As you probably know, I used to say I’d watch a s3 remake over my dead body!! but all I can tell you is that Druck is threading the needle for me. It’s following the same structure but the characters are altered enough that I can see it as an AU of s3 and not trying to be it. I don’t really think there’s any one thing a remake would need to do to win me over though, it’s just a matter of feel? And I happen to be vibing with this one~ I’m still not sure what’s going to happen when I hit the heavy content at the end of this season, I’m hoping that it’s different enough that I won’t be comparing it to the clips that truly took my breath away in s3 but we’ll have to see.

i don’t know about you guys, but i want to make a difference, and skam and ulrikke falch have given me extra motivation. so i want to propose this to you guys. let’s all work to be kinder and to do more for each other. remember: everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. be kind. always. skam has to live on through us. if we don’t act on what we’ve learned from it, then the legacy dies. the post-it note thing is a really good place to start. another good place to start is to stop hating julie for every little thing you didn’t like and start appreciating all the good things she did. it’s kind of like our own kosegruppa. we will spread love and “kose”. anyway, have a lovely day and you are all beautiful and valid and worthy of all good things :) alt er love. “fear spreads… but fortunately, love does too.” ❤️💛💚💙💜
