Today I wore my Koshekh shirt (see below) and one of the Grade 6s was like, "You always have cool shirts! Like this one, for example, some kind of demon cat."

I explained to him that the cat's a character in a podcast called Welcome to Night Vale. He lives in the bathroom of the local radio station in the town the podcast is set in, and floats above the sink. The kid gave me a bemused look, so I further explained that weird things happen in Night Vale all the time, but because they happen all the time, everyone's basically like "Yeah, what else is new?".

He laughed and told me there was a Spongebob episode that was kinda like that.
