just found out platonic marella and fitz are called lava cake and I need to know if anyone sees my vision

Keefitz as byler

Lava cake as madwheeler

And sophella as elmax

think one of the reasons I've always liked (platonic) lava cake so much is that I've always headcannoned Fitz as severely mentally ill. Marella not only seems like someone who's had a fair share of struggles with her mental health, but also has a mom who deals with psychotic episodes.

Basically, I think I really just like the idea of this friendship because its someone with a mental illness finally getting a friend who actually knows how to help/support/make them feel cared about while still knowing when to hold them accountable

Marella sometimes just HAS to set something on fire. She needs to or she thinks she might explode. And Fitz can’t particularly help with that… but he knows someone who can

So Dex makes her a little gadget that she can light on fire as many times as possible and it will always burn but will always be contained and never spread. She can put it out and reignite it whenever she wants. It is an AMAZING outlet for her.

And in that way, Marella and Dex friendship makes an appearance in my lava cake headcanons :)

Idk if it’s just me but I kinda uhhh don’t like ugh how do I explain this so people who follow me or um seen my post before know I like sotam BUT not the ship. But like new people might not because of the name it implies a ship and I don’t like that I feel like I have to put platonic in front of it every single TIME

So like HEAR ME OUT and Ik some fandoms don’t like it for good reasons BUT what if we made duo names for the dynamics uh uh PLEASE HEAR ME OUTTT cuz there lava cake right ? (Fitz and Marella) (I think)

What if we had more names like that but like NOT MASHED TOGETHER DOSE THAT MAKE SENSE cuz sotam as a name isn’t bad! And I’m not saying get rid of it per say…. But like if you want to talk about them platonicly and not have to say there name just use the duo name!! (And put them in tags so people know the characters cuz Ik it can be frustrating that’s why most people don’t like it oop)
