Evidently not. It wasn’t uncommon that Dr. Russell was lost in her thoughts, oblivious to the world around her. It came with the territory, he supposed. She was far more focused on her work than anything else... That was typically the case anyway. Tonight, she was distracted by something far more pressing.
He stared down at Emma passively, as if gauging her response. The silence settled between the two of them, the only noise being the crackling of the radio. Ghidorah didn’t much care for human music, but he supposed this was tolerable enough.
His center head lowered itself to the ground, gazing at her as best he could through the large window. They had commandeered what had once been a Monarch base for themselves. The observation deck was practically made for a creature his size, and even then it was still slightly cramped. But it allowed him to more easily interact with his prophet. The original staff was long since dead, of course.
His gave penetrated her even through the glass. Ghidorah looked at her like he had no time for this front. He had heard everything. He knew she was upset... And yet he was so proud of her. His right head nodded up and down, while his left head licked the glass. The closest to a sign of affection as he could give like this.
It was important to make sure his most loyal servant felt appreciated, after all.
