Shikoku Konpira Neputa Festival 四国金毘羅ねぷた祭り The Hirosaki Neputa was designated an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Asset of Japan in 1980. In May 2022, the Shikoku Konpira Neputa Festival was held in collaboration with Kotohira-cho, Kagawa Prefecture, home of the Konpira Shrine, popularly known as Konpira-san, and Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. A giant fan neputa of about 8m high, based on the theme of the Konpira Kabuki play ‘Yoshikata Saigo’, which was cancelled in Corona in 2020. The sight of it parading through the town, ascending, descending and rotating, was a sight to behold! There was also live production by Neputa painter Miura Donryu. 1980年に国の重要無形民俗文化財に指定された『弘前ねぷた』。なんと2022年5月、「こんぴらさん」として親しまれている金刀比羅宮（ことひらぐう）のお膝元・香川県琴平町と、青森県弘前（ひろさき）市が連携して『四国金毘羅ねぷた祭り』が開催されました！2020年にコロナで中止になった金毘羅歌舞伎の演目『義賢最期（よしかたさいご）』を題材にした高さ約8mの巨大な扇ねぷた。昇降・回転しながら町内を練り歩く姿は圧巻でした！ねぷた絵師・三浦呑龍（みうらどんりゅう）さんによるライブ制作もありました。 #kotohira #konpira #neputa #kagawa #festival #matsuri #night #nightphotography #travel #travelphotography #travelgram #instagood #instagram #instalike (at 琴平町) https://www.instagram.com/p/CeH653WP6I1/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
