And that was how they had ended up in their current situation. Their wedding was planned for two weeks on Saturday, and none of their brothers even knew the two were together.

                𝒲hy did feelings have to be so stupid and confusing? Everything was going just fine until he just so happened to waltz into his life and because of it, everything felt like a jumbled grey mess of dark thoughts and red tinted feelings. Subaru Sakamaki always wanted to be alone, he felt like it was doing himself and other a favor, as he was just far too much trouble for anyone to handle. Girls did admire him for his strange appearance but, they had never really talked to him—furthering his hatred for making any sort of contact with anyone. He didn’t want to get close or open up with anyone. His large pearl white hands clenched at the torn clothing from inside of his jacket pocket, his cherry red eyes glaring at the passing smiles and laughter of other people—people who had the one thing he didn’t. Happiness and peace. It was only when he saw those glimmering sapphire blue eyes that made his heart swell in his throat. Those crepe colored cheeks, the thick mass of butterscotch blond hair that delicately curled against the rounded ivory pale jawline, and that damned Peaches and Cream perfume; everything about him was so painfully beautiful and every girl in the school seemed to think so too. Subaru didn’t know a lot about Kou Mukami, but he guessed that he was some sort of idol or model; he had to be, considering the stunning appearance and silvery voice. That’s when, he was sure, things began to get confusing for him. The albino vampire was straight, he was incredibly insecure around women but straight nonetheless, but when he found himself staring at Kou…He started to feel unsure. He always found himself desperately wanting to hold Kou’s small, soft looking hands and be close to him; after all, staring at him made him feel slightly at ease and he wanted to know if that feeling would grow if they were closer. Kou was the popular boy that had been completely surrounded by girls—and probably money—and Subaru was a nobody that would constantly start fights, the two were oh-so different and Subaru was very certain someone like Kou wouldn’t want to hang around someone like him. “Subaru? Subaru, are you alright?” Blinking once or twice, Subaru looked down at see that Yui had been standing there for what looked like a decent amount of time. Had he really been staring for that long…? Did anyone notice? And what if someone had noticed Subaru staring at Kou’s direction. He shook the thought away, no one hardly noticed Subaru so he highly doubted it. “What do you want?” Subaru grunted, leaning himself back against the wall behind him. “You were staring off at nothing and you looked troubled” Yui explained, her light-blonde eyebrows bunched together in worry. “Are you okay?” She asked again. Subaru didn’t know. Everything felt like a jumbled mess of grey and red, he didn’t understand anything of what he was feeling or thinking and he didn’t know what more he could do to get the thoughts to stop. Subaru opened his mouth to respond but the sound of the bell rang out before him, alarming everyone that they would be late to class if they didn’t hurry. With large amounts of chatter, the hallways began to clear up—however, Subaru wasn’t sure if he really wanted to go to class. Opening his locker and slamming it shut, he pulled out a small packet of cigarettes and stuffed them in his jacket pocket. He wasn’t exactly supposed to be smoking, he didn’t even particularly like the taste of them, but he was all over the place anyway. So, why the hell not. “You’re going to be late for class” Yui informed, though quietly. “Who cares” Subaru mumbled. “I’m going to the roof, we’ll talk later” Yui gave a hesitant nod and rushed off to her own class, leaving Subaru completely alone in the now empty hallways. He sighed to himself and started up the staircase, his hands growing sore from the tight fist he had forced them in. What was it about Kou that Subaru wanted? They had never talked before and while Kou had shot some smiles towards him here and there, it still couldn’t have been the reason as to why Subaru felt so interested in him. Maybe it was because of the large crowd of girls that followed him, maybe the almost-feminine touch of appearance…? Whatever it was, it wouldn’t leave Subaru’s heart to rest. Grumbling to himself, Subaru pulled out his cigs and pushed open the roof door; allowing the rush of hot night air to hit his cold face. Ohh, it felt so nice. Sitting himself down in a little corner, he popped open the small box and began to smoke from the shitty tasting roll of sadness. Subaru sighed loudly to himself and mumbled nothings to himself as he tried to gather his thoughts; but the perfume scent still lingered in his nose and only made it ever harder to get rid of the blond riddling with his heart and mind. It was when the scent grew closer and stronger that Subaru shifted his sitting position and opened his eyes.  It was just his luck, there he was, Kou Mukami. Subaru felt his heart swelling in his throat again as he carefully watched the other, whom had his back turned to him and probably hadn’t even noticed he was there. “Aren’t you skipping?” Subaru asked gruffly. Kou turned around, his expression startled at first before calming down. He shrugged and took a seat on one of the benches. “Yeah but, I’m not too worried. It’s a really nice night, isn’t it?” “It’s like any other night” “Last night didn’t have as many stars. Tonight has loads of them, everywhere” Subaru glanced up at the sky and took note that it was particularly starry, but he didn’t entirely care about the stars. There was nothing impressive about little glittering dots that stared down at the world below. Looking back at the other, Subaru felt his face heat up as he began to slightly stare once again. The moonlight hit against Kou’s face perfectly, making his skin look even silkier than it had before, and his eyes sparkled even more. God damn, he was so beautiful and Subaru hated it. “You know, that’s really gonna fuck with your throat” Kou stated, pointing to the lit cigarette. “What? Do you care or somethin?” Subaru asked back, flicking the butt and letting small sparks fly from the tip. “Maybe. I come to the roof often and I don’t exactly find the smell of smoke all that attractive” Kou declared in a as-a-matter-of-fact tone. Rolling his eyes, Subaru pressed the lit end against some random stone and threw it away. It wasn’t like Subaru found Kou’s statement any true but, he had just grown tired of the cig. Nothing more. “Here. I have a vape on me and I could let you borrow it” Kou added, reaching in his pocket and pulled out a small pink stick with little cat stickers decorated on it. Cat stickers, really? For a moment, the ends of Subaru’s lips turned up in a slightly amused smirk before falling back down again. The blond idol stood up and sat next to Subaru, holding the small stick-like device out to him. “Have you ever used a vape?” “No.” Kou seemed to be rather pleased with that answer as he smiled wider and pulled it back towards himself. “Here, I’ll show you. You just press here and then suck” He instructed before showing. As Subaru watched, he took note of the sparkly lip gloss across Kou’s plump lips and found himself pushing away the thought of wanting to know what they taste like. Now wasn’t the time to have a sexuality crisis. “--Alright, now you try” Kou demanded breathily, shoving the vape in Subaru’s mouth. Naturally, the full-blood wasn’t keen to having things shoved in his mouth but found no reason to get all pissed over it. He grunted and shot a glare at Kou before reluctantly beginning to breath in the smoke. It was strawberry flavored but the lip gloss imprints from Kou tasted like cherry; it was an odd mixture of flavors, but Subaru found himself starting to like it. When the device was pulled from his lips, Subaru fought back the urge to whine at its loss and simply let go of the large puff of smoke. “So?” Kou urged. “So, what?” “How was it? Did you like it?” “Well, you shoved in my mouth and basically forced me.” Subaru grumbled. “Yeah, yeah. But I mean, how did it taste?” Kou questioned further, leaning in. “It was…okay, I guess. It’s not the worst” The albino mumbled, his face heating up at the closeness. “Yeah, it’s pretty sweet. Azusa knows a guy who sells these for really cheap around the school, that’s how I got mine” Kou said, shoving the thing back in his pocket. “As if I care” Subaru grumbled under his breath, avoiding straight eye-contact. Kou shrugged and rolled his eyes, standing up and taking a step or two away from Subaru. “Well, this was nice but Ruki’s gonna kill me if I completely skip class. How about we talk more tomorrow?” “Tomorrow? Why?”

Reijiruki angsthings

This year I finished reading svsss, so I still have ideias in my head

It was supposed to be a small thought, but it turned into fanfiction

Reiji's attitude isnt pleasant half of the time, in fact, most of it's rude, especially regarding government matters and changes in Ayato's kingdom

The Mukamis dont understand how his older brother come to like that Sakamaki, okay, they're both smart and they like their nerd shits about philosophy, medicine, politics, art. But wasn't there anyone better?

Kou and Yuma disliked Reiji not only because of his temperament, but also because they frequently heard Regarding the complaints from his boyfriends, especially Yuma, he glares at him every time Reiji speaks harshly to Shu (Village burned down? Attempted murder? All forgiven, Yuma doesn't hold grudges, but don't talk trash about his boyfriend)

So yes, Kou and Yuma speak ill of Reiji, especially to Ruki, who always tries to calm his brothers' complaints, saying that Reiji isn't so easy to get close to and understand him, which is why many misunderstandings occur

Things get worse when Reiji wants to move in together. A mansion in Makai, and other at the human world, the home is already tidy, designed with the two of them in mind, it has everything they could want, Ruki loves the idea, after all, he loves him, but the problem is too far away, Ruki says that this way they would be very far from his brothers and his work, Reiji agrees, saying that's the idea, he already has to see his brothers every day at work, so at least his resting area should have the peace and quiet of moments alone with his lover, Ruki complains, "I know you might not like your brothers, but I like mine. I want to invite them over to chat and hang out too." and Reiji lets slip, "I'm including them too." "What!?" Ruki glares Reiji

Reiji choked, it hadn't come out like that. The Mukamis, the strongest thing they possess is the fraternal bond between them. It's all right, no one is obligated to love Kou's dramatic and spoiled actions, Yuma's messiness and impulsive behavior, or Azusa's strange hobbies, but But the person he loves and trusts is saying that his own brothers are not welcome in his own home.

"I asked what you meant by that, Sakamaki Reiji," he says angrily, Reiji takes a deep breath, his eyes darted around, his head was full of thoughts, and he felt that speaking would only make things worse, "Forget what I said–", "No!", Reiji begins to tremble slightly; he fought so hard against his own pride and (wrong) convictions to finally be together and feel good with someone who truly cares about him, someone who could understand him, and now he's trembling, thinking that any wrong word could ruin their relationship, his head is starting to ache

" They say I'm rude... they're kind right", "Maybe if Yuma comes, he'll bring Shu too", " I can only relax when I'm with you, with other people, I still put on a strict facade", "Should I a... a–pologize?", "I don't care about other opinions!", "They are noisy", "Stop!", "You treat me with affection, they'll make fun of my habits", "If Kou and Subaru fight here, they might end up destroying things", "Azusa is fine, he is quiet", "I only feel comfortable being vulnerable when I'm with you", "I'm being so pathetic", "Stop thinking!", "This situation is so ridiculous", "I know your brothers talk badly about me, they think I'm not good enough for you", "I don't care, no", "I don't mind!", "But you don't hold your tongue when you're talking badly about Ayato either, do you?", "He's my brother, I can't be selfish to refuse to accept criticism from others", "Why do only you and your siblings have this right?", "Stop, I don't want to think anymore!", "You know me, don't play dumb, you can read me, you know I get uncomfortable", "Stop, shut the brain", "Stop, shut up", "Do you think im lower to you?", "No, I don't want to think, I want to be alone"

"I don't want anyone here!" How end up like this?! "If that's what you want, have it." Ruki left.
