He isn’t sure - he spends so much of his time focused on his work that anything having to do with dating is kind of lost on him. He has a preference for men (that he keeps well-hidden), though.

first headcanon that pops into my head?

Council lives in a very serious, very restrictive family - he’s so mercilessly rule-abiding because he was raised to be that way. He stresses about disappointing his parents and breaks down at the thought of not being perfect enough for them, but he hides these fears very well. However, both Trad and Liar know the truth.
