(hi, im neigedens on AO3, ive been meaning to introduce myself, nice to meet you!) the thing that i really like about landoscar, and that i do find charming about their marketing #Content, such as it is, is that I get the impression that they both are kind of shy, or at the very least neither of them are especially outgoing, so when they do manage to be funny/relatable/organically make each other laugh there's a sense of accomplishment between them as together they perform the visible labor of parasociality. it's sort of heartwarming.

yes, absolutely, like i think both of them are shy in different ways and you do genuinely get the feeling of them endeavouring to do a good grade in being chums, and then their obvious delight when they succeed is for sure the best part. it's funny when they start really getting into it because they get so excited that they fully just talk over each other. like lando bringing up their shared bakery and then it's just three straight minutes of them speaking at the same time and then trying to respond to what the other one had said while he's now saying something new, and then like the absolute glee when the land on the same thing (the growing pile of caps! or from that video where lando drives oscar in his car, when they both say it sounds like the gearbox falling off at the same time, most beloved).
