Upcoming Promotions

The Bolshoi hasn’t made an official announcement about these upcoming promotions, but I have received so many tip-offs about them (huge thanks to everyone who has messaged me), that I’m just going to go for it.

Alena Kovaleva and Eleonora Sevenard will soon be promoted to Leading Soloist and Soloist respectively. They are already listed as such in the Bolshoi London tour programs. I’m sure the formal announcement will come soon.

Both Kovaleva and Sevenard are Vaganova Ballet Academy graduates. The former was part of the 2016 class (class of Kasenkova), while the latter graduated in 2017 (class of Udalenkova).
