Thoughts on this parallel.

When Pete said he had nothing left. He ment his humanity , dignity or self respect. He was empty and had nothing left for Vegas to take from him.

Vegas meant those things too . But not for Pete to take from him. For him to give.

I think he also meant he had nothing of value to give Pete, he no longer had the moniker of being the eldest son of the minor family. He had no home or power to give Pete.

I don't think he thought his love was of enough value to give Pete and have him stay. That's why he told him if he ran, he would be alright with that.

He was giving Pete an out. A chance to run away from this worthless man who had nothing to give. Because in Vegas's world, people only stay if you have something of value to give them like power, protection or money.

But not Pete. Pete stays because love is enough for him. It holds the most value.

He isn't a man who puts stock in things like power and money. As his tattoo says "There is no legacy so rich as honesty" Pete is honest with his own feelings. He's following his heart and knows Vegas is laid bare for him to see. A man with nothing left to give but his love is as honest as it gets.

Not quite sure what is happening but certain that they are planning something! KP Season 2? New dates for the world tour? New projects? Whatever it is, I cannot wait and I am 100% onboard!

just finished KinnPorsche it was good, like the scenery not so sure about dialogue but it was really good. I just never seen a fandom sucked a company's dick so hard, is this normal in BL series? I've seen a couple so I wouldn't know like I saw a couple of comments praising the company and some saying people should be thankful got weird never saw people thanking CW for Supernatural lol other than that obviously the fandom I think it's very intense but it also comes quite supportive. Not sure if I would be part of but mostly it was a good series and I hope there is a second season because that ending is asking for more.

this had me rolling, Nonnie 🤣 you're really not wrong- to say the KP fandom has collectively been laying on the floor for months, begging BOC to step on us wouldn't really be an exaggeration (aside from the nightmare novel writers, who can go straight to hell...*burns sage*).

you might already be familiar with the legendary creation-of-KP fandom lore, but that's the main reason why we went particularly feral for- of all things- a production company.

how can you not when said production company is essentially co-owned and funded by one of its main leads, who chose to invest in the show partially because one of the mains was based on him? to quote Ms. Stefani, that shit is bananas (B-A-N-A-N-A-S).

to answer your original question: no, the fandom reaction you've been seeing is not at all typical. Bad Buddy was the last show that had an equally-feral fandom reaction, but with a very different vibe.

watching KinnPorsche with this little community has been a mostly-amazing, completely-unhinged experience, and I'm SO hoping for a second season, partially just so the madness gets to go on for just a little longer (ANNOUNCEMENT WHEN LORD- WHEN).

I browse and read an unhealthy amount of KP fanfiction and have some insights:

So you can assume that roughly half of the fandom has an idea of the book, so it's a bit weird that > Haven't seen fanfiction Kim and Chay characters as out of the book, including what role Kim is supposed to play

> Macau's character is a total chameleon - everyone creates him as they like

> for some reason, one time I ran into 3 or 4 fanfics one after the other, which were paired with Pete and Kinn - big and huge NO ( other weird ships don't scare me, but this one does)

I want to shout out the fandom for the stellar discourse that I've been lucky to be a part of.

Meta is a lot like scholarly research, a bunch of nerds in a room shouting this is my opinion and it's valid. And it is. And we all have different backgrounds so we all take to the source material differently. For example, I'm a millennial, so my experience of queer history is a lot different to someone who is Gen Z. I'm an orphan so that informs a lot of my discourse for Porsche but someone who isn't an orphan or experienced that loss may not agree with my view on things. I know that I've not agreed with more than a couple of people but it's not a negative experience.

And that is completely the point. We are all shouting in the same room but for everyone I've spoken with, we're shouting one by one, not over each other, not to crush each other. We're vaulting our thoughts into the void like scholarly nerds so that other nerds can enjoy it and maybe tack their view on. It makes fandom a fun and enhanced experience which is what it is supposed to be.

So was anyone else paying attention to this?

Kinn stepped in front of devil daddy in what we were supposed to see as protection from Porsche.

Yet here we see him sit idle while Vegas aims.

It's not because he doesn't think Vegas won't do it. He knows him well enough to know Vegas will kill without remorse. Kinn is was simply letting it play out as it should.

Kinn only stepped in front of Korn because he was protecting Porsche. He knew Porsche acts on emotions and at that moment was running high on confusion and anger. He also knew if he shot Korn , Porsche would never be the same . He would be a cold blooded killer , something Porsche wouldn't be able to come to terms with. Think back , Porsche has only ever killed in defense of Kinn.

Kinn also knew those that knew Korn was still alive would demand Porsche's life. He really fell hard for this man and would do anything to protect him. It's just something I keep thinking about. I love the small nuances they throw into this show.
