SUMIN x READER
Warnings: lol nothing just sumin being fine.
Kinda short but I hope you guys enjoy :)
Plot: you decide to go to a new coffee shop not knowing a handsome stranger will be behind the register.
You decide to try this new cafe because you wanted something new.
When you enter you don't expect to see a good looking guy behind the register.
His hair was black it kinda covered his eyes but not too much (Basically he was looking like a snack) He didn't see you looking cause he was looking down.
But he soon lifts his head and you two make eye contact. It was intense, you felt a wave kinda go over your body it was weird.
you thought he looked so good and couldn't help but atmire him forgetting that your just standing at the door staring at him. You get shy and look down as you walk up to the counter.
He looks at you "How can I help you today?" He asked with a small smile. " just a black coffee please" you reply. He nods his head. "Will that be all?" He asked with raised brows. You nod and he tell you to sit anywhere.
You sat down at a table across from the counter as you sipped your coffee you feel eyes on you. You look up and see the cute guy at the cash register.
When he sees that you knew he was looking he didn't look away. It was like he was staring into your sole. The only thing that breaks the ice is the bell from the door.
You look away and sip your coffee. Your heart beats rapidly, was it because you couldn't handle the stare of a guy that looks as good as him? or was it just the coffee getting to you? You tried to ignore it and look at your phone cause he had a customer, but as soon as you look back up he's looking at you.
He smiles at you. You are shocked but smile back. It's was something you would want to see every day.
After that you notice him leaving the cash register and coming twords your tabl, you were panicking.
He leans on the table with his left arm "Need anything else?" he seems to have some paper under his hand , he slides it while giving you the sexiest look you've ever seen.
You get huge butterflies in your tummy. "Ahh, no I'm good" You say kinda stunned and he tilts his head with a smile "Okay" he says before turning around and going back to the register.
You looked down and smiled to yourself then at the paper on the table.
You unfold it. It says "for a beauty, (phone number)" you giggle. You should definitely come there more often.
When he finally introduces you to his friends/coworkers: Jaebum Edition
☕ it was actually planned...well planned like way way wayyy later in the future
☕ this was actually a spur of the moment thing. he forgot a jacket and you guys were going to the movies and he just knew you were going to be chilly and he can’t even imagine allowing this to happen knowing he could’ve somehow prevented it
☕ but it also means having to go to the cafe where he works
☕ where he knows everryyyone is there because in the groupchat they asked why he wasn’t working
☕ and he left them on read because it wasn’t any of their business
☕ he was now regretting this terrible awful decision
☕ and you keep asking why he seems a bit tense, you don’t really need a, they could just go back to your place and get your own
☕ and he tells its nothing, you do need a jacket because it’s always freezing in the movie theater and he doesn’t want you catching a cold, and he made you come all the way over to his side of town for this specific theater because they serve the slushies you like and dammit he can handle this
☕ or so he tells himself
☕ when you walk in you don’t really see the big deal, you’ve come to this cafe before. in fact it’s how you met Jaebum in the first place!
☕ there are only a few customers hanging around, probably enjoying the free wifi and from what you could see there’s only one person behind the counter
☕ however your boyfriend’s face make it seem as though it’s Satan themself
☕ (for some reason he keeps muttering “why jackson whywhywhy”)
☕ the guy, you’re guessing Jackson?, grins and waves and your boyfriend but then freezes as he sees you
☕ Jaebum’s trying to rush into the back but Jackson’s having none of it and asks who you are
☕ Jaebum ignores this and once again attempts to get to the back so you take it upon yourself to introduce yourself
☕ he introduces himself as well, (you were right his name is Jackson, Jackson Wang to be correct or “Super Cool Jackson” if you felt comfortable), and just Jaebum finally succeeded in sneaking into the back he asks you The Question:
☕ “So what are you doing with our Jaebum hyung, y/n?”
☕ you tell him its one of the rare days you’re both off from work and you’re not studying for something so you decided to go on a date to the movies
☕ Jackson is now staring at you with really wide eyes
☕ (like seriously slightly intimidating wide eyes-howaretheyeventhatbig???)
☕ “D-da-date?!?!? You’re going on a date!?! With Jaebum hyung!????”
☕ you shrug. “well he is my boyfriend”
☕ it happens in slow motion. his eyes are now bulging, his mouth has opened up to an almost impossible perfect “O” and his hands previously limp at his sides are now flapping so fast as his side you imagine he thinks he can fly.
☕ and then he yells out for the entirety of the cafe “HOLYSHIT JAEBUM HYUNG HAS A CUTE ASS BAE.”
☕ which of course garners the attention of not just the three other customers but two other employees crashing to the front from the kitchen both looking around frantically before landing on you. one of them even wolfwhistles (and you do not blush because goddammit it’s 2018 he needs to have freaking manners)
☕ “OOHHEMMMGEEEE
☕ “I can see why hyung was hiding them! They’re really cuute~”
☕ “OHHH. EMMM. GEEEEEE”
☕ “BOTH OF YOU STOP YELLING, YOU’RE GONNA SCARE Y/N”
☕ all of this commotion causes three separate things to happen
1) three more people burst out of the back like there’s a fire but only one starts to scold the three yelling for their yelling by yelling, one cheers on the one who’s doing the scolding, and the last one gives you an apologetic smile and wave
2) Jaebum finally comes out from whatever hidden pocket of reality the cafe break room is with his jacket and takes in all the commotion with the look of a man who’s seen war firsthand
3) all at once all seven of you turn to stare at him (the five finally going silent) and he stares back for a grand total of thirteen seconds before Jaebum coughs awkwardly
☕ “So uh, y/k, you met...everyone?”
☕ “SHE DIDN’T MEET ME! HI!!! MY NAME’S KIM YUGYEOM”
☕ “I’m Bambam, Dabmaster, Double B, you can call me Oppa B if you want~”
☕ [you’ve literally never seen your boyfriend vault across counter like that to attack another person]
☕ “I’m Park Jinyoung and I’m so thankful there’s someone in the world who can put up with our hyung”
☕ [Jaebum just stares at the ceiling as if praying that the rains from Africa come to wash him away]
☕ “Yo, I’m Mark. Uh. Nice to meet you?”
☕ [you can’t believe this giant is so squishy you really can’t]
☕ “Hi hello! I’m Choi Youngjae! It’s so nice to meet you! I’m glad Jaebum hyung has such a cute partner!”
☕ [Jaebum is just tiredly looking at the floor at this point, there is no more fight within him]
☕ you’re full on blushing at this point, there’s no way you could’ve hidden it, not when all these people randomly started introducing themselves and calling you cute every five seconds. so you just wave and grin giving them the same basic introduction you gave to Jackson adding a heartfelt, “it’s really nice to meet all of Bumie’s friends”
☕ “HYUNG YOU LET THEM CALL YOU ‘BUIMIE’ “
☕ “CAN WE CALL YOU BUMIE TOO HYUNG? CANWECANWECANWE!?!?”
☕ “YA! WHAT DID I JUST TELL YOU ABOUT YOUR YELLING?!”
☕ and again, another argument erupts and you’re left staring at it this time a tad more amused, even laughing a little at the betrayed look Jaebum gives you.
☕ “Alright! Thank you for basically being the worst of people, I’ll see you all tomorrow, y/n let’s go please.”
☕ you both leave to a chorus of cooing from the men behind you as well as Jackson (you’re pretty sure it’s Jackson, at this point you’re about 80% sure its him) fake sobbing loudly about how they grow up so fast.
☕ by the time you’re about a block and a half away he stops you and sighs looking apologetic. “I swear I was going to introduce you to them better than that. I didn’t mean to leave you with all of them.”
☕ you grin and shrug not seeing the big deal. “It was fine! They were all so nice. It doesn’t help that they were all cute too~” you tease with a smirk.
☕ he huffs and pouts loudly (you will never understand how he can pout audibly) and you know you’re about five seconds away from either ridiculous aegyo Jaebum or eccentric sexy Jaebum
☕ to your surprise you get neither. instead he pulls you forward into a tight embrace making sure his lips are next to your ears
☕ “You can think what you want, as long as you know you’re all mine.”
☕ which yeah, you can’t exactly argue with that kinda logic
☕ [you’re also ten minutes late to your movie for...reasons but he still manages to get you a coveted slushie before the movie really starts]
