I honestly question kpop fans these days... like they supposedly love their groups so much but let something unfounded crop up that puts one or more of the members in a negative light and suddenly they are worse then haters/antis

Worse because they will knowingly add to the issues and say the most horrible things or wish for awful things to happen to the artist that is being put under attack and then turn around after its been resolved as untrue with "opps hehe 🤭, we were wrong" and then still bring it up months or even years later.

And this is one of the reasons non-kpop fans refuse to listen to the genre because of how toxic and wishy-washy the fandoms are.

we should talk about unhealthy body positivity in the kpop community- because there are always those few people who reply under my threads of the boys when i compliment them looking healthy that are like “but what if you just didn't comment on an idols appearance? weight gain shouldn't be glamorized,” or some variety of “people who comment on idols weight make me sick” like you are aren’t already commenting on people's appearance every second of the day when it comes to someone heavier.

and its always really obvious to me that those comments come from a place of discontent with the persons self rather than what im saying about a partiuclar idol. but at the same time, in what world do you live in? people aren’t supposed to be that skinny! and of course im going to congratulate someone I care about on being healthy! Of course i’m going to be happy that idols aren't stressed to the point of starvation and fainting! a small percentage of People in the kpop community act like normalizing healthy weight is the biggest crime (and lets be real the idols are barely at a healthy weight even then)
