I was just waiting for the moment at the end of this Katy Perry’s dinner live thing when Patty Jenkins and Anna Kendrick could talk because CAN YOU IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES and just when they were hugging while walking out together at the end and Anna was telling her that she had to pass on the opportunity to watch wonder woman today so she could be at that dinner and Patty replied “I’m so glad you did because I was waiting to meet you..” they walked out of the room and out of the cameras and microphone’s reach and WHYYYYYYYY IS LIFE THIS UNFAIR???!!!!

Okay so I just watched this video and it was entertaining to listen to Neil deGrasse Tyson. What bothers me is that Katy Perry wanted to look like she was curious but kept blocking him off when he tried to actually explain something and go deeper.

He was just scratching the surface and everyone who watches some of his shows knows that. He is very good at breaking stuff down into little pieces that everyone can chew but he also knows what lies behind them. She doesn’t. Which is completely fine.

But claiming to be “thirsty for knowledge”? She appears to be enjoying the entertaining part but when it comes to the educational part she plays the “mind blown” card, changes the topic or throws in some random comments and stuff she knows about to make her look intelligent. At least she gave him a plattform so more people can see him.

Neil is a true professional, he adapted to the situation and found a balance between education and entertainment with her competence in mind. Unfortunately there is no info about him or his book in the description.
