This was such a cute coord!! I miss dressing up. I think i wore this to see marie antoinette at the coolidge theater in boston last year! we got a little shoutout from the staff for dressing the part :]

My heart had been yearning to wear something on the OTT side, somewhat dressed up and doll-like, so I chose Faltetto/Farutetto JSK with a bonnet. The dress code requested pink, so the pink colour it was! I also wanted to wear faru with a colour that wasn't just ivory or offwhite for once, so I added some brown accents. But, it's a very tame brown accent for sure!!

I wanted to wear my Elizabeths but ultimately changed to BABY shoes on the left as I knew I'd make myself late walking to my destination in high heels 😅

Since lolita fashion has many pieces referencing western Christian (usually Catholic) imagery, I would love to see lolita fashion brands reference eastern Christian imagery. Imagine the possibilities: JSKs and OPs with Orthodox crosses, Orthodox icon imagery and or Orthodox architecture. I’m surprised Russian brands and other Eastern European brands like Miss Danger hasn’t thought of it.
