Sharing an old rant from months ago

But, the more I think about it the more that the s2 finale "Ty Died" leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

Like the main premise is Ty hearing about Kings getting assassinated and he tells his family that he maybe next and they laugh in his face saying that he isn't worthy of being assassinated. So he goes out to find a paid assassin to essentially kill himself and when he finds the perfect one that'll try to miss him, he ends up dying and after shenanigans ensue involving "Lore Olympus" it turns out Tyrannis family actually did care for him.

But the thing is, they could've said it in a way that wasn't like he was worthless.

I feel like Tyrannis as a character is so tragic. That he craves any sort of attention or affection. He'll even threaten his own life to do so. I mean sure, him dancing naked in front of his family was an alright punishment for scaring the fragile shit out of them. But like... They should really check up on him more, their youngest son clearly needs help. SO HELP HIM BRUH!!! 😭

To be fair tho, I may be misremembering things and that I’m most likely overreacting because I love Tyrannis a bit TOO much, but I just take his “punching-bag moments” pretty personally.
