Day 20- Krawl (Maja) from Spectrobes

OMG I LOVE SO MUCH the details kept me up from awhile but it was worth it!!

I started playing Spectrobes recently so now this weird ass thought won't leave my mind. What if Sonic's Black Arms, Marvel's Symbiotes/Klyntar, and Spectrobes' Krawl are related? Three species that eventually branches over time due to various factors.

Symbiotes are the origin point with the other two evolving into completely different species. Krawl or 'The Empty Ones' happens when hunger overtakes all sentience down to the single simplest emotion. A group of symbiotes unfortunately ended up on a planet with very little hosts and no space travel capable technology.

The complete desperation to survive as food sources dwindled over time quickly starts an evolutionary path that puts entire galaxies in great peril. All the stranded symbiotes let their hunger guide them. The need for living hosts and their sentience dwindle in exchange for the ability to feed on everything.

Plants, animals, rock, magma, metal, and energy quickly joined the ever growing menu. A ravenous vortex which forsaken most of their symbiotic nature for complete parasitization. These symbiotes soon became the Krawl. Empty husks akin to ravenous locust and could only be slayed by powerful fauna who adapted to fight back, Spectrobes.

Black Arms had a more bloodthirsty evolution than the Krawl. It all started when a cultist warlord became the first host of a symbiote named Peril. The tyrant's malevolence nature quickly ingrained itself into the Klyntar.

However no one could've foreseen it evolving into something else. The warlords sought power that was born of darkness or chaos. Magical, religious, mechanical, scientific, it didn't matter one bit. Peril sought potential in the former two and would soon lead his host to one last bloody tribute.

Sacrifices were gathered like lambs for slaughter, willing or not. Resources for one grand ritual that would turn a sky full of a thousand suns pitch back. The host dawned the sacred garbs and took their place to receive the power from this bloody blessing.

Unaware that Peril kept the last step to himself until the warlord willingly played their part. All present would find themselves swallowed in a sea of black sludge which once been the symbiote. Their blood painting its mass as a devil took shape.

Peril became Black Doom and would quickly create a race made in his own image, the Black Arms or 'Treacherous Dark'. Beings who didn't need to rely on hosts yet retained a mostly amorphous nature to conquer others. This particular race loves to kill any unfortunate symbiote that crosses their path and mock the King in Black.

All I can say is nobody wants to be anywhere near a family between these three.
