wow, apparently ppl are mad there’s anti war sentiment and anti colonialism

no people are mad those sentiments were used to protest hillary cliton when she became the only person standing between the presidency of the united states and donald j trump, and in hopes of what? subverting the will of millions of democratic voters and giving up the nomination to the opponent she beat for literally no reason at all other than a tantrum? should’ve brought anti democracy posters with them too

I hate to say but I do like the product so it’s not a matter of using it just to use it up but in that scenario I 100% agree! Lovebug actually got it for me (so technically it’s his money haha) and we found them for under 5$ each so like even if I’m (shamefully) giving her company money at least it’s pretty much pennies....like I said.....hypocrite 😂😂😂

I can’t speak to that, because despite trying many, many, many times, I could never get past the first couple episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender. I know a lot about it thanks to fandom osmosis, and might even be able to hold a reasonable conversation about it (same with The Legend of Korra), but I never actually sat down and watched it all the way through because it could not, no matter how hard I tried to make it, hold my interest. It’s like the Kingdom Hearts of cartoons for me: Wildly popular and something I tried many, many times to get into, but just could not despite my repeated attempts.

But to compare Voltron and Steven Universe without bringing Avatar into the equation? As someone who is all caught up on both shows, it’s no contest as I said. Steven Universe wins, hands down. It’s just the better written show, despite a slow and rocky start.

Like have you thought about how race plays into this?? Or immigrant identity? Like... I'm honestly confused why ppl are upset that ppl are providing info to move a conversation along. But more confused when race is a big reason why Americans bring this up (border crossed me, black flight to Chicago, asians in San Francisco California, my quest to find chicken and waffles wo seeing my auntie in D.C.)

I’m not sure what you mean – are you suggesting the USA has a uniquely high proportion of immigrants, or racial diversity? Because about 14% of the USA’s population is foreign-born, compared to for example 28% in Australia, 29% in Switzerland, 39% in Hong Kong, etc. And Canada beats the USA on all measures of ethnic, cultural, linguistic, and religious diversity – as do an awful lot of other countries.
