i headcanon that Kris actually has a purple soul, not a red one.

in the world of deltarune, the Player looks like a red soul and when they possess someone, they "wrap around" their vessel's soul and make it red.

why purple? well, it's the trait of Perseverance, which is already pretty self explanatory... can you imagine just how much willpower it takes to resist an otherworldly being possessing your body????

35 Kris headcanons cause im crazy

er just a list I have in mind, some of them are silly others are just abit sad which ill rant about one day

they do really weird shit but everyone assumes thats just how humans work

^^add on, They act like a dog especially when they were younger but no one questions it

They are demi-romantic, meaning they dont feel romantic feelings until they are close to someone

They just wear Asriels clothes, its baggy and abit big on them but they dont mind

^^add on, its also great for hiding their knife

They only seem more masculine because they dont give a fuck about what their wearing or hair, if it was ever something they had to dress up to they love to wear something super gender non conforming

They would often sneak into Noelle's place when they were younger

They cut their hair themselves since Asgore and Toriel dont know how to. Other monsters had offered but Kris declines and enjoys having to cut more layers into their hair

They end up playing games with Berdly, but only to troll him. Specifically on days when Berdly annoys them too much. Berdly doesnt know its Kris lmao

At the end of the day they just take out the soul and do whatever they want, this leads to them sleeping at 2-4 am and sleeping through most classes.

^^^ cuz of this, they have pretty bad eyebags too

Since they cant speak much with the soul, they are usually in control of their facial features. The reason their face is all covered up is because they dont want us to see it

Kris, Frisk, and Chara are all racially ambiguous

Hometown is actually pretty cold for humans, thats why theyre always wearing the sweater and usually another shirt underneath.

They have some ear piercings, one was from Dess and others theyve done themself.

They get pretty good grades without trying, thats why theyre the 3rd smartest in class

When they were in the occult with Catti, they tried to make a spell to make them a monster

Theyre around 5'5, they just seem short next to monsters

Pretty scrawny, partially because we forget to feed them and also monster food isnt as nutritious for them

Their moss eating habit came from childhood, when theyd explore the forest and when theyre hungry theyd just eat moss

finds being with Susie comfortable because she ignores the players choices

Misses Noelle alot but scared the soul will hurt her and partially feels guilty about the dess situation

Their eyes are more of a dark blood red, but become a bright red when controlled by the soul

Paints their finger nails with a marker when theyre bored in class

Sleeping alot in the day tends to be a coping mechanism to avoid the souls decisions

When Toriel was trying to learn about humans, she got very confused on the puberty part. The bathroom cabinet is filled with skin care and pads just in case. (technically a Toriel headcanon but whatever)

They have Anemia, they have to take iron tabs cause of it

They tried to sandpaper their canines when they were younger to make them sharper, it partially worked but also ended up being akward in their mouth. (dont do this at home kids)

At first they also tried growing out their nails to resemble claws, but they started cutting it after getting into the piano.

They have struggle looking people in the eye, specifically people theyre not super close to

Kris specifically smells like apples, vermont, and fig leaf

They sort of have a skin picking problem, its lessened now that we're controlling them but they tend to do it unconsciously when theyre bored or nervous

^^ Their lips are chapped and bleed sometimes cause of this, Noelle would "accidentally" leave some chapstick on their desk for them

Theyre good at flirting cause of Dess and Asriel flirting, which Kris would end up being a sort of third wheel with

When they were younger Noelle would give them hair clips and Dess would give them eyeliner. Kris still keeps the hair clips in their drawer and uses eyeliner sometimes.

I tried coming up with a headcanon on why the fuck is our cage on a wagon but I genuinely cant think of any. This question will forever swirl around my head.

On fanfics/comics where Kris is ooc, they can't shake off the feeling that their current actions still aren't exactly theirs, alongside an incessant feeling of being watched

On those where they are in-character, they just feel observed all the time

Okay I have so many and most of thiz iz just me trauma dumping onto them so let's begin

- Kris forgets to eat and hangs around their room doing nothing. They don't watch TV so they spend most of their time in their room alone. So, Kris often forgets to eat.

- They barely sleep due to their soul problems and overthinking.

- Toriel will yap to them.and they will be standing there zoning off cuz they actually dgaf

- They enjoy hanging out with Susie but hates when people are like: "Why did they become friends?"

- They have social anxiety and are only popular cuz Toriel is popular and Asriel was popular

- Before meeting Susie, Kris often grew lonely and felt like Noelle liked Berdly better than them

- Kris is bisexual <33 (Bite me!!!!)

- Kris likes Invader Zim!!! (He forces Susie to watch it with them)

- Their aesthetic is emo/cottagecore/normcore

- 5'4

- Has a bad morning routine, doesn't even brush their hair lolzz (messy hair forever!!!)

You were watching a movie with Kris. Toriel was staying late at the school so you two got to have some time for yourselves to watch whatever you wanted.

Suddenly, as you were snuggled into them, Kris began to move strangely. They had been acting very out of character recently so you thought that they were just going to get a drink, doing their 'normal' thing.

However, they raised their hand and slammed it right through their chest. The sound of low beeps came from them until they pulled out a bright red and pixilated heart.

After throwing it across the room, they slammed down onto the floor, nearly passing out from sheer exhaustion.

You quickly moved to lift them up from the carpeted floor and onto the soft leather couch. You placed a cushion behind their head and quickly ran to get them a cold glass of water.

They were hyperventilating for several minutes, trying to control themselves as they couldn't stop shaking.

You gently pulled Kris into your arms for a hug, stroking their hair and gently whispering into their ear. "It'll be ok...I'm here...It'll be ok..."

They slowly began to breath at a slower pace, leaning into you and trying to calm themselves down. The heart kept shaking but they managed to ignore it whilst in your hold.

When Toriel came home, she began to help you console and calm Kris. They needed alot of comfort but, after this, they'd need to explain what on earth that was.

Kris isn't very good at giving physical affection but they love whenever you give them any sort of hug, kiss or hold.

They happily lean into your hugs. They melt into your kisses and they let you hold their hand gently in yours.

Unlike you, they aren't very good at giving that kind of affection. Instead, they give small gifts to showcase what you mean to them.

All their gifts have some sort of sentimental value. Whether it be resembling something they see in your relationship or something that symbolises a moment you both had, the gift will mean something.

Kris doesn't exactly know how to handle PDA, usually staying calm and cool on the outside but panicking so much on the inside from embarrassment.

But they won't stop you from giving them affection. They adore it, they just can't find a way to express it.

Kris with a S/O who is really anxious?

Kris With An Anxious S/O

Unlike yourself, Kris rarely ever gets anxious about anything. They eat moss without worrying about the side effects or whoever is watching them, they don't get anxious about anything.

So, when you both get together, Kris can struggle to help you whenever you get anxious since it's something they aren't entirely used to.

Of course, they know when you get anxious and will try and help you whenever they can. They do this in one main way.

If you get anxious, they'll try and make you laugh. You may be surprised since they seem so monotone but Kris loves pulling pranks and making jokes, like blocking their toilet with bath bombs.

So they'll try and think of different ways to make you smile through practical jokes like pulling a prank on a friend or someone you don't like much.

If that doesn't work, they try and give you some form of physical affection. They aren't too good in this field but they try their best if it makes you feel better.

Hugs, kisses, snuggles. None of this is what Kris is used to but, if it makes you feel better, they'll do it.

If all that manages to work, Kris will be happy knowing you feel better.
