Warning: Spoilers from today's episode, and Alien feels.
So I kinda feel bad for these Kroloteans... I mean honestly they came to earth because The Light had sent the Justice League out there and kinda made Earth a GREAT target. So they come to Earth and do their thing, like they’ve probably done tons of other times, and then they get outed by whoever hired “The Main Man” from episode one. So then the League realizes they’ve got all these Aliens everywhere and we have the first two episodes. I mean I know we all are like “They are the bad guys, how dare they attack our Superhero babies” when honestly they are fighting back to survive the only way they know how (and even then it’s not good enough cos between Young Justice/Justice League they can’t really do much).
So then in this episode we see that yes the Kroloteans are still impersonating humans, which isn’t working out very well for long because the League has apparently already made tech to out them (not to mention freed the captured humans that are currently being impersonated). So now the Kroloteans are like “We need to leave Earth, we’ve been outed, it’s no longer profitable”. So they are trying to leave the planet. They are building a ship so they can all leave Earth because the League went and destroyed all their Zeta Tubes. Then Black Manta (and y’know Kal, and The Light I suppose) act as if they are offering help, protection, so that they can finish their alien ship and leave the planet, but as soon as the YJ/League appears immediately the Kroloteans are easily disposed by The Light (which honestly who expected them to really care for the Kroloteans in the first place). Even worse is they are again fighting back, so that their ship isn’t destroyed by the evil superheroes that are intergalactic outlaws...and it’s still useless because their alien tech isn’t even close to the power of the Earth heroes. So then right before the Kroloteans that were stranded on Earth are destroyed, Superman tries his hardest to save them and to tell them they need to leave or they will die...and they don’t listen! Why listen to Superman, a member of the “Justice League of Earth” who are these evil earthlings who came to this planet and just destroyed everything. It’s a trap. It has to be. And even though we know it’s not, they don’t...and they all get killed.
Also I’d like to point out that on both planets when they realized they had been discovered they quickly made to leave. On Earth it was a little harder, because their ship was destroyed as were all their Zeta beams(though remember that most of them Zeta’d to Rann when they were discovered on Earth). They couldn’t get home as quickly, especially with some of them trapped acting as humans. On Rann, when they were attacked they tried to capture the “Meta Humans” because let’s be honest they’ve all got bounties on their heads and these are aliens that steal tech for the greatest profitable gain for them. On top of that they also immediately left in their ship too. I mean not only does this whole ordeal just enforce for the Kroloteans how terrible the Meta Human Earthlings are, it makes the Light just that much more low for taking advantage of these aliens to get the League viewed in a very bad light (oh god was that a Light pun?) both on Earth and in the rest of the galaxy.
All in all, I’ve just wrote all of this to explain how terrible these poor little aliens have been treated. They are misunderstood, I tell you! T^T Also I have a feeling that the Krolotean’s will not be the only aliens in our little Invasion. My feeling is proved by Nightwing’s whole “Where did the bomb come from” since he pointed out it was alien tech that the Kroloteans didn’t know about. That and this whole “Competitor” ish.
Any other opinions? Am I crazy? No. wait don’t answer that. lol does anyone agree?
