In the Perse Kronide au, if Perse looked like Rhea's mini me, the most out of her siblings except Poseidon, would Kronos stay his hand?

Would Kronos, who feared being over thrown, look at this small goddess who looks exactly like her mother, his wife, and still eat her?

Would he attempt to, only stopping upon hearing her screams, so similar to Rhea's, and ceasing immediately, caving to his daughter's cries?

Would he spend the rest of his time as King of the Titans trying to make it up to her?

Would Perse only snuggle close to his side and wrap her arms around his stomach only so as to try and hug her siblings who were inside?

I have a lot of thoughts

A lover of the idea of Kronos as a good father, at least in the fics

I don't know if it's just me but I imagine Cronus as a good father to Percy and he loves that, to some extent, Percy is a great daughter and Cronus's princess, i.e. his favorite, so the reason he ascends is not because of something as banal as his revenge against his children, but rather it is based on two things: the first is that he is a jealous father and he heard in Tartarus that there is a god or several gods among them. His son Zeus and his grandson Apollo along with other gods do not want his daughter, his princess, to marry and he tries to rise in ancient Greece but fails which puts him in a bad mood. And he hears that Asta had children (Dionysus, Asclepius, and many more), which makes him angry because he thinks she is being forced or raped. Which makes him hold a great grudge against them, but he looks for a way to save both his daughter and his grandchildren from their evil parents. Second, when I heard that she died, I was in denial for a long time and Luke comes to say that he thinks he saw her and that she possibly believes in him and believes that she faked her death and supports him in the shadows because he is afraid of the gods so to defeat Olympus, no matter how far or how low he has to go, to save his princess, he will do it. PS: my language is not English, I'm using Google Translate for this, sorry if I don't understand it.

The Titanomachy Pt.1

After Ouranos imprisoned the Hecatoncheires and the elder cyclops Gaia turned to her remaining children the titans to overthrow him they were at first hesitant but the youngest Kronos was able to persuade all but Oceanus to aid in overthrowing their father Rhea distracted Ouranos for three days with preparations for her wedding to Kronos while Gaia crafted a sickle of Adament for Kronos on the dawn of the fourth day the siblings attacked their father and all but Rhea and Oceanus held him down as Kronos used his sickle to tear his father apart as he drew his last breath Ouranos cursed Kronos and Rheas marriage prophesying that their union would bring the end of Kronos’s rein just as his union with Gaia brought the end of his

Things were good for a time but eventually Kronos let his fathers curse fade from his mind and to his wife he sired the goddess of hearthfire Hestia but as she grew older and more powerful Kronos grew more and more fearful until one day as his wife swelled once more with child he lifted his daughter above his head and swallowed her

The goddess Perseira was born to Kronos and the eldest Oceanid the Goddess Styx she was raised by her mother in the underworld until she was brought by Tethys to Mt.Othrys were her father taught her governance at his knee Rhea seethed as her stepdaughter grew more magnificent and beautiful each decade while her own children languished in her husband’s stomach so when her sixth child Zeus was born she disguised a rock as her infant and hid her real son on the island of Crete

Hephaestus epic/ the athenide

do you know hephaestus line in the god games?

if we go with the athenide au (or it would be the kronide au right?)

would he have said that because of precy? you know because shes the goddess of loyalty? that she taught him the importance of trust?

i like to think so because it makes his part so much better, you know it just shows how much of a mamas boy he is? (as he should be)

Akina's Kronide AU pt. 4

[Read the beginning here, or the previous part here]

Percy with Hestia, Demeter, Hera, Hades, and Poseidon

- After being freed by Zeus (Percy was making a distraction to clear their route of escape) the previously eaten Kronides meet/reunite with their mom in a hug.

->Zeus and Percy watch from the side, Percy ruffles Zeus's hair to congratulate him for a good job while looking him over for injuries. Zeus rolls his eyes as Percy's worrying that he's hide an injury, but also thanks him, telling Percy he wouldn't have been so successful at pulling it off if it wasn't for Percy's help.

- Rhea introduces them to their siblings

-> They are surprised they have 2 siblings, they thought there was only one because of the single rock.

- Introductions happen, Rhea has to take her leave to do damage control and prevent most of the titans from finding the 7 of them

-> Percy accompanies Rhea to the edge of the island, and Rhea asks him to look after the 5 for her and help--

-> Percy cuts her off before she can finish, telling her that of course he will, they're his siblings afterall. He'll look after and train them.

- The next couple years pass by, with Percy looking after them and making sure they don't draw too much attention to their hiding spot

-> Funnily enough, Percy makes an active effort to be mindful of his language with the 6 and acts responsibly, treating all they come across with respect

-> Make no mistake, he still has the insults and blunt observations, but he makes sure to keep it mental/internal. Why? Well, look at the future. He hopes maybe he can ensure that the lot will treat all beings, be they mortal or immortal, with respect regardless of status. Basic respect and decency is lacking in this pantheon, and the 6 look up to him. Hopefully this will save others from the absolute sticks in the mud Gods he knew growing up.

-> No worries though, there are beings with whom he can release that commentary with.

- With Zeus, it was certainly a transition. He was not happy from being his older brother's only focus to suddenly splitting said focus amongst 5 others. Training may hurt a lot, but Percy and his attentive care have been his only constants throughout life. It did get resolved, but not without punching Poseidon in the face.

- With Poseidon, he and Percy spent a lot of time at the beach and the waterfall and lake of the island. He was the first of the trapped Kronides to unlock his powers, likely domain over some form of water.

-> Percy made sure to always call him Po, or if it was a scolding it would be syllabicated, emphasizing syllables individually. He didn't look much like his original father in the first place... but saying the name of his dad when not referring to him was just weird. And he wanted to do his best to not treat them based on things that had not been done by them (Chaos knows how much it's happened to him, he doesn't want to be a hypocrite, there's enough in this family.)

(A/N this has already gotten too long, so, time to cut here and continue Percy with the other Kronides in another post... dam it I was so close already to rambling about the fighting pair, guess that'll take a while longer.)

Reading @dewypinkmorningroses fic "Triplets of the Sea" and @localfandomenjoyer's Kronide au has me thinking of an au where Perse Kronide is a reincarnation of Psyche. Especially because primordial Eros was reincarnated as the son of Ares and Aphrodite in "Triplets of the Sea," which could create an interesting dynamic with everything Perse would have going on. The primordial Eros was also described as providing good counsel to Zeus, I think, so he could be a lot of help to Perse and help out during the Titanomachy. I'm also imagining an alternative version of the Psyche and Eros myth where instead Perse elopes with primordial Eros, and Kronos taking the place of Aphrodite

Consider: Rachel Elizabeth Dare is an artist. Imagine Perseleia being her favourite mythological character, so she likes to paint the goddess in her own style with a more modern spin that deviates from traditional interpretation. Somehow, by divination or sheer luck, Rachel manages to perfectly capture what Perseleia actually looks like. Their version of Tumblr would be fawning over images of the goddess doing normal activities in New York (at a cafe, by the Statue of Liberty, on a ferry etc), praising how it reflects her essence even when presented in a very different setting. Fans of the mythos then join in to talk about how Perseleia was said to travel the mortal world in disguise and that Rachel's work is more accurate to how the Greeks saw her rather than whatever Disney interpretation is popular at the time.

Meanwhile Perse is at school and wondering why the art kids keep taking photos of her.

Flash forward a few years and Rachel has to deal with her fan portrayal of a Greek Goddess coming to life just to try killing her with a bronze sword.
