Happy Solar Eclipse Day!
Artemis and Apollo seemed rather fitting :)
Apollo: Hey sis, you won't believe me, but I found Hermes down in Tartarus! Turns out he got captured by giants a few days back.
Artemis: Why in father's name did he go down there?
Apollo: He though he'd have a better chance with Perse Kronide if he got her father's blessing.
Artemis: ...and why were you in Tartarus?
Apollo: *spluttering* THAT ISN'T THE POINT, ARTEMIS!
Lester is getting closer to becoming a zombie...
I wonder what might happen if Artemis comes late and she never gets the chance to save her brother…
Guess who?
Apollo: Guess whose birthday's coming up? Artemis, rolls eyes: Try not to be annoying, brother. Hermes: I know what I'm going to get him! It's going to be the best gift! Better than yours. Apollo: You wish. Hermes: Don't need to. I know he'll swoon over them. Apollo: When he sees mine, he won't even think about yours. Artemis: Oh maybe Perseus will appreicate both? Hermes: Apollo: Artemis: Not everything needs to be a competition. Hermes: Apollo: Mine's still better. Hermes: No mine! Apollo: Mine! Apollo and Hermes argue. Artemis: I pray for Perseus' mind for when his birthday arrives.
Thinking about Overprotective Artemis
I love Poseidon getting all overprotective when Percy gets involved with Apollo, but I also love Artemis getting all overprotective when she realises Apollo is in love with Percy. She knows that Apollo is going to lose Percy unless he accepts immortality. Artemis tries to persuade him to break things off with Percy. Break things off before he falls any deeper than he already has. He'll most likely suffer Poseidon's wrath for hurting his son, but he'll be ultimately okay. Far more okay than he'll be if he allows himself to fall deeper only to lose Percy. Apollo wants Percy to become immortal, and so does Artemis. The difference being that Apollo never directly brings it up, while Artemis straight up approaches Percy and questions him on his relationship with Apollo and if his feelings on immortality have changed. She doesn't get a straight answer regarding immortality, but she feels a slight sense of relief that Percy doesn't seem as against it as he used to be, and she can't help but be happy at how obviously in love Percy is with her brother. She's still worried, and Apollo is mad that she approached Percy like that, but he's her brother, and protecting him will always be one of her biggest priorities even if she has to go about it in ways that will anger him.
Apollo is actually kind of funny for being mad at Artemis because he is just as overprotective, if not more lol
