KL being the kids' primary caregiver due to Clark's jobs makes me think of penguins

KL: *After tucking the Batkids in for a collective nap* I hatched these babies. All on my own.

Clark: You didn't hatch them. They were born before you even-

KL: *Puts a hand up to silence Clark* I hatched these babies all on my own.

Mans has perfect reasoning to be this sassy. He is RAISING these babies! He is a part-time single father! 😤

Aristocats Clex AU?! That sounds adorable! I'm imagining Clark getting the kids together to do arts and crafts like how Duchess does in the movie!

And then they all get in a little group to practice their singing! Aww!

Clark is basically both Duchess and Madame, teaching his babies to be proper but also be able to defend themselves. In Babs' and Steph's case:

Clark: I do all I can to make sure my family stays planted on firm values, such as avoiding swearing whenever possible.

KL, meanwhile: *Teaches their kids every Kryptonian swear word in the book*

I Said Sad But Today Was a Good Day, So... Cute Little Thought

The Batkids love visiting the nest not only because their Kryptonian parents love them and would give them the world if asked for, but because it's always just calm enough for them to pass out and SLEEP after long school/work weeks

Funny thing is, though, that they can only fall asleep after getting what they deem a sufficient amount of attention from both Clark and KL.

Out of all of them Damian (as expected) and Jason (surprisingly) are the most cuddly of the bunch. They want to be hugged and cuddled; Damian won't sleep unless he's slung over KL's shoulder like a sack of potatoes, and Jason has to be wrapped up in a blanket KL wove just for him.

Damian is also very particular about which sibling he sleeps next to. He's fine with sleeping next to Dick, Steph, and occasionally Cass, but everyone else is a no. Sometimes he'll shout "RICHARD! HOLD ME! I DESIRE SLEEP!" and all I can think of is Dick cradling Damian with Wii Party playing in the background while he tries to do eight things at once.
