I think I am having an inspired idea of, during the short, very aggressive multiverse-connecting meeting of feral Clark and KL, feral Clark learns that KL and his Mate have a nest where they are protecting their eggs and also a growing number of young heroes.

I think he'd go absolutely wild and also immediately want to build a proper nest. (And maybe try to kidnap the batkids)

Feral Clark: *Digging through the hallway closet* And we can use this comforter as a base, these blankets as surrounding walls, a bowl for treats- OOH! Maybe we can make it big enough for the babies to have separate rooms!

Human Lex: The... Babies?

Feral Clark: Yes? You know, Jason, Tim, Richard- All of the Robins. And Batgirl.

Human Lex: ...What is my life?

"Normal" Clark: Growing chaos as your Kryptonian begins to become in tune to his roots.

KL: *Holding a giggling toddler Connor* Darling! Look at their Kon-el! He is but a hatchling! We must have him!

Human Lex: ...I need a nap.

What would KLs reaction be if any of the kids actually told him about a romantic partner. Or even brought one to the nest to meet him. Because...I have the feeling he would either be delighted or downright absolutely murderous. No in between. He either wants the wedding invitation right now or its a bloodbath.

Honestly, I think it would depend on the kid. KL plays favorites, that much has been established, so if I had to list reactions from "Most" to "Least" favorite, it would go like this:

- Jason

- Tim

- Dick

- Babs

- Steph

- Cass

- Duke

- Damian

His top 5 kids would not be allowed to even THINK about having a significant other without the threat of him tearing the person apart; everyone else receives the excited "Who are they?! What's their name?! Are they kind? Strong? When will you wed? I MUST know!"

Depending on how you view the situation, this is either really good or really bad. None of the kids have any idea how deep his "Favorite Child" ideology goes, let alone how much it affects how he responds to certain situations they get themselves into.

KL and Connor: *Get Into a Fight*

Connor: *Gets Tossed Around and Ends Up With Multiple Broken Bones, a Punctured Lung, and a Concussion*

Also Connor: *Internally Screaming* Wow, that hurts.

Batkids: *Doing their usual rambling and occasional arguing*

KL: *Calm*

Damian: *To Tim, teasingly* Then why don't you say that to your boyfriend?

KL: *P A N I K*

How often does Clark come home to their nest to find another young superhero KL 'saved'?

And how often do the already 'saved' ones visit their newly aquiered kryptonian father?

Before the egg shows up, Clark comes to the nest every few weeks (it quickly turned into every other week the closer he got to laying), and stayed once he got to the week of his due date. Seeing a new young super started off as a genuinely frustrating annoyance, but eventually he just got used to it and begrudgingly accepted it as something KL couldn't help.

The already "saved" youngsters visit literally any time they're not in school or busy with patrol. They adore their new "home" and adoptive father. Obviously they steal Bruce's jet whenever they visit, since they can't just walk to the Amazon, lol.

If Kryptonian Lex would actually be protective over Jason after learning of his death, does that mean KL is more chill with children in general?

Yes he is, in his universe it was always adults trying to hurt or kill him. He'd never met an adult who would just accept him the way people in Clark's universe accepts aliens and metahumans and such. Children, on the other hand, we're always down to hang out with, talk with, and just generally spend time (quality time) with KL.

After some time, you start to associate childhood innocence with the only innocence there is.

Okay, But We Can All Agree That the JL Would Definitely Try to be Wingmen/women in a Kryptonian Lex Scenario, Right?

Hal, whispering: Alright, what's he doing now?

Bruce, whispering as well: *Looking Through a Pair of Binoculars* Exactly what he was doing five seconds ago when you asked me. Talking.

Hal: God, seriously? This guy has no rizz!

Bruce: Please stop hanging around my Robins...

John, quietly: I hate to agree with Hal, but I gotta agree with Hal. This is going nowhere.

Diana: Will you boys stop it? Let Clark do this at his own pace.

Barry, just barely whispering: But his own pace is booooooring! We're trying to get him laid, aren't we?

Bruce: Elegant as always.

J'on: I feel as if spying on our friend's date is less than noble.

Barry: Trust me, MM, us being here is gonna guarantee repopulation for the Kryptonians.

-Meanwhile, With Said Kryptonians-

Kryptonian Lex: They realize we can hear them, right?

Clark: *Noise of Absolute Distress*

KL being the kids' primary caregiver due to Clark's jobs makes me think of penguins

KL: *After tucking the Batkids in for a collective nap* I hatched these babies. All on my own.

Clark: You didn't hatch them. They were born before you even-

KL: *Puts a hand up to silence Clark* I hatched these babies all on my own.

Mans has perfect reasoning to be this sassy. He is RAISING these babies! He is a part-time single father! 😤
